I have always been fascinated to study in abroad and fortunately, I got this opportunity last year as being a topper of my batch I got select to learn various languages at the Chirs Institute of Linguistic Skills Australia. It is one of the best institutes as it assists one to acquire their preferable language which further creates employment opportunities.

Besides language training, I also explored different cultures, experienced variety of dishes and met people from different regions. If you are nervous about people, let me tell you that they share a strong sense of community. People are welcoming there, they will help you with the directions, studies and in many other ways.

The overall experience was very good as it helped me to broaden my prespective related to other religions and culture. It also helped me to work in tea

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response successfully covers all the bullet points outlined in the prompt. You mentioned where you studied, namely at the 'Chirs Institute of Linguistic Skills Australia', described what you learned about the country regarding culture and community, and explained how the experience was helpful for your studies by broadening your perspective. However, the letter is cut off abruptly at the end ('It also helped me to work in tea'), which means the final point is left incomplete. Despite this minor drawback, the main communication goals of the letter are largely achieved, and the tone remains appropriately friendly and semi-formal throughout, fitting the general training letter format well.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter exhibits a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing that separates the introduction, the specific details about the institute, the cultural observations, and the concluding academic benefits. Basic cohesive devices are used to link ideas, such as 'Besides language training' and 'If you are nervous'. However, referencing and transitions are occasionally mechanical, and the abrupt ending disrupts the logical progression of the final paragraph. Paragraphing is generally used sufficiently and appropriately, but the lack of completion at the very end prevents a higher band score for seamless flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common phrases such as 'fascinated to study', 'employment opportunities', and 'strong sense of community'. There are, however, several spelling and word-choice errors, including 'studing' instead of studying, 'select' instead of selected, 'Chirs' instead of Chris, and 'prespective' instead of perspective. While these errors are noticeable, they do not severely impede communication, as your meaning remains clear to the reader, placing your lexical control comfortably at the band 6 level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

The response features a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating your ability to construct compound and complex sentences like 'If you are nervous about people, let me tell you that they share a strong sense of community.' There are some noticeable grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'I hope you are enjoying good health' (which sounds slightly overly formal for a friend's sister) and 'year of studing abroad which i have completed recently'. Additionally, capitalisation is missed on the pronoun 'i'. Despite these inaccuracies, communication is rarely impeded, and you display a satisfactory level of grammatical control.
