Dear Ana,

I heard about your abroad planning want to studying abroad for a year. Actually, its a good move for you and your carrier. I studied in Cambridge university for one year with supply chain management course and have a good opportunities for me.

On the other hand , i also learned about the United Kingdom country and their study rules its very beneficial for me amd my future. During study i gain the knowledge and skills about supply chain management and how its works. Professor and teachers are very kind and helping to study.

After completion this course i got a job in multinational company which produce a milk and milk based products. In this company i served as a manager of supply management and also have a good package and promotion.

In my opinion you must have to go abroad once in a life for study and gain skills and knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response successfully covers all the required bullet points from the prompt, addressing where you studied, what you learnt about the country, and why the year was helpful for your studies. For instance, you mention studying at Cambridge University for one year with a supply chain management course and explain how it helped you secure a job in a multinational company. However, some ideas remain under-developed or briefly stated rather than fully expanded. To move to a higher level, you should extend your explanations with more specific examples and richer details regarding your daily experiences in the United Kingdom and how the academic environment directly shaped your professional skills.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter maintains a generally coherent overall arrangement with a clear beginning and ending, greeting Ana appropriately and closing with your name. Information is separated into paragraph-like blocks that touch upon different aspects of the prompt, such as your course details, what you learned, and your subsequent employment. Nevertheless, the progression between ideas can feel slightly disjointed due to mechanical transitions like "On the other hand" and abrupt shifts in topic. To improve cohesion, you should ensure that referencing is always clear and use a smoother, more natural range of connective devices to link your thoughts together logically across sentences and paragraphs.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is minimally adequate for the task, successfully conveying basic meanings related to your studies and career, such as "supply chain management", "multinational company", and "manager". However, there is a limited range of vocabulary, accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, form, and spelling. Examples include writing "abroad planning want to studying" instead of future plans, and using "carrier" instead of career, as well as spelling errors like "amd" and "completion this course". These lexical inaccuracies and spelling slips occasionally create awkwardness, though they do not completely impede communication. Expanding your stylistic range and ensuring precise word forms will help elevate your score in this area.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The writing demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside a few awkward attempts at complex forms. There are frequent grammatical errors involving verb tenses, articles, and prepositions inside patterns, such as in the phrases "its a good move", "studied in Cambridge university", "how its works", and "Professor and teachers are very kind and helping to study." Punctuation and agreement errors also occur throughout the text. These frequent errors require the reader to occasionally puzzle out your meaning. To achieve a higher score, you need to produce a better mix of error-free simple and complex sentence forms with improved control over verbs and article usage.
