Dear Aida,

How are you doing?. I am very excited about hearing your study plan in Canada. I recently completed one year of Software development course from Canada

I studied in Conestoga college in Ontario.Since I took some time adjust with new culture, initially I was very skeptical about descion. However after couple of months I realized I took the best decision in my life. I got an opportunity to study with people from all over the world, which significantly improved my communication and collboration skills.

My school curriculum included both practical and theoretical subjectsa nd teachers are very helpful. I had a on-on-one with my professor every week to discuss about the areas that I need to concentrate more. It significantly improved my coding proficiency. As a result, I was able to secure a job after my first interview.

I hope you will find this informations are helpful. Plaese feel free to call or message me anytime. Please let me know, If you want any arrangement related to accomodation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three requested points: you identify Conestoga College in Ontario, describe studying with people from different countries and adjusting to a new culture, and explain that practical and theoretical learning and weekly professor meetings improved your coding and helped you secure a job. These details make the letter relevant and personal. However, the description of Canada remains fairly general, and the benefit to your university studies could be explained more directly—for example, by showing how the course or skills supported your degree. The accommodation offer is a useful personal touch, but a little more development of the country and academic benefits would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening, paragraphs about your experience and studies, and a friendly closing. The sequence from adapting to the new culture to describing classes and their outcomes is easy to follow. Linking phrases such as “However” and “As a result” help show contrast and consequence. At times, though, the connections between ideas are abrupt: the move from studying with international classmates to the curriculum, for instance, could be signposted more clearly. Some sentences also run together or have inconsistent spacing and punctuation, which interrupts the flow. More deliberate paragraph transitions and cleaner sentence boundaries would make the organisation feel more consistently controlled.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “study plan,” “curriculum,” “practical and theoretical,” “communication and collaboration skills,” and “coding proficiency.” These choices convey your experience and its academic value. However, several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, such as “descion,” “collboration,” “informations,” and “accomodation.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “completed one year of … course from Canada” and “arrangement related to accomodation.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding the main message, but they limit the accuracy and flexibility of your vocabulary. Aim for standard spelling and more natural collocations when describing study and support.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a subordinate clause in “Since I took some time adjust with new culture” and a result clause beginning “As a result.” The overall meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “How are you doing?” should not have a full stop after the question mark, and “I had a on-on-one with my professor every week” has an article error and an unclear noun phrase. Other examples include “I took some time adjust” and “I hope you will find this informations are helpful,” where the verb patterns are not controlled. Review articles, verb patterns, and sentence punctuation, while continuing to practise varied sentence structures.
