in recent years, set-up family business have become increasingly common in many parts of the world. While, this development has several benefits, it also comes with certain challenges. Although, there are disadvantages associated with this trend, I believe their advantages are far more significant.
Admittedly, family owned business has drawbacks and one major concern is the delegation of responsibilities by the primary leader. Sometimes, the head divide the tasks unequally, and against their interests and abilities. As a result, the members accept this duties as a burden and can not enjoy their work.
For example, many ladies expect some their daughters to accept their botique business as a profession wheras, there is no surety that can create problems in their busiess as well as family.
Despite this concern, I believe its benefits ars greater. First and foremost one is secure the careers after education. This is because many students easily concentrate on their study without any tension about future because they know that they join their businesses and do not need to beat any market competition for the jobs. Moreover, this entreprises prove benficial for appropriately utlize the time of the children. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of family businesses, taking a clear position that the advantages are more significant. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and the response falls short of the 250-word minimum, containing only 237 words. This under-length penalty restricts the score for Task Achievement. While points are raised regarding the delegation of responsibilities and career security, the examples provided, such as mothers expecting daughters to run boutique businesses, are underdeveloped and lack sufficient depth to fully satisfy Band 6 requirements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays a generally coherent overall arrangement with basic paragraphing, though the formatting and conclusion are abrupt and incomplete (ending with 'beneg'). Transitional phrases like 'Admittedly' and 'First and foremost' are used to structure the text, but referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the ambiguous pronoun use in 'many ladies expect some their daughters'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final conclusion lacks proper sentence structure and completeness, which impacts the overall logical progression of the piece.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common phrases such as 'delegation of responsibilities' and 'market competition'. However, there are numerous lexical, spelling, and word-choice errors throughout the text, including 'set-up family business' instead of 'family-run businesses', 'botique' instead of 'boutique', 'wheras', 'entreprises', 'benficial', and 'utlize'. These errors demonstrate a limited control of word formation and spelling, keeping the lexical score at a Band 5.0 level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as concessive clauses starting with 'Although' and 'While'. However, control over grammar is weak, with frequent errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues like 'the head divide the tasks', incorrect verb forms like 'accept this duties', and incomplete or ungrammatical fragments like 'As an adults can build many skills'. Punctuation and capitalization are also inconsistent, particularly at the start of sentences and within the incomplete conclusion.
