To begin with , in many countries family members love to work together in their family business. One of the primarily is that , if someone wanna go on vacation they can go and comeback anytime they want to their are no such restrictions on you like other jobs. Moreover, you have so much time to do other stuff as you can divide your days with your other member of the family. Furthermore, now i will talk about the drawbacks working with your family member. To illustrate,Sometimes if other family person if not aware about the business one can take over all the business and the other person will don't know anything about it. Therefore, its necessary to keep an eye on your business. Sometimes there also arguments between each other which may result to serious issue and can destroy each other realtionship. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses both advantages and disadvantages of family businesses, presenting a clear personal position. The ideas, such as flexibility in working hours and potential relationship strains, are relevant. However, the development of these ideas remains somewhat limited and superficial. For instance, the advantage of vacation flexibility is briefly stated as 'you can go and comeback anytime', but it lacks deeper extension or fully realized examples. Similarly, the discussion on drawbacks mentions misunderstandings and arguments, yet the examples given (like 'if other family member sopke to you rude') are vague and colloquial. This places the response comfortably at Band 5.0, as it addresses the prompt and presents a clear stance, but the ideas are under-developed and lack the depth required for a Band 6.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, attempting an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall organization lacks smooth logical progression. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or repetitively, such as 'To begin with', 'One of the primarily is that', and 'Furthermore, now i will talk about'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, for example in the second body paragraph where pronouns like 'one' and 'it' are confused ('one can take over all the business and the other person will don't know anything about it'). Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal transitions within paragraphs feel abrupt and mechanical. This demonstrates the characteristics of Band 5.0, where there is some organization and paragraphing, but overall progression is unclear and cohesive devices are frequently inaccurate.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, typical of a Band 5 level. The student attempts some topic-related vocabulary such as 'business', 'vacation', and 'relationship', but makes frequent word-formation and word-choice errors, such as 'primarily' used as a noun ('One of the primarily is that') and 'sopke' instead of 'spoke'. Spelling errors like 'realtionship', 'comeback', and 'individiuals' are noticeable throughout the text. While the range is minimally adequate to convey the basic message, the frequent errors in word choice and spelling cause some strain for the reader and prevent the response from reaching Band 6.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as missing auxiliary verbs ('the other person will don't know'), subject-verb agreement issues ('it have seen', 'its depend'), and incorrect verb forms ('someone wanna go', 'how is your realtionship'). Punctuation is also problematic, notably with spacing before commas ('To begin with ,') and missing capitalization for the pronoun 'i'. These frequent errors frequently impede the flow of reading and demonstrate the typical features of a Band 5.0 performance, where complex sentences are often faulty and accurate structures are heavily outnumbered by basic errors.
