Student answer (Band 5.5)
Business is crucial for everyone to earn money for their self needs and for family members. More than half of countries, family members work as a one unit in their own business. In my opinion working with close ones have more pros than cons.
To begin with, Two families work as a team build more trust as they know each others feelings and share same bond. When they start working it will build high mutual trust and make their personal bond more stronger and they do not ned to hier any external people.Family business will makes their bond more closer and never ending trust.
Moreover, when immidiate family work together they will make long -term perspectives not the short ones. They will think about long time period as what time they will start doing this or may more. They will make a sketch of what they want to do in the following years.
Futhermore, when family members work together in their family business there is not need of schedule as this time they will start or finish work. Family members are often willing to take multiple tasks at a time and can work flexible hours as long as they want. They can take day-off when they want as they do not need to ask to manager for one or two day holiday.
To conclude, working with close one has more advantages. As working as a team build more trust and they can make long term decisions as what they want to do in future and they can take day- off whenever they want.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you believe family businesses have more advantages, and you give relevant reasons involving trust, long-term planning and flexible working hours. These points address the question, but the response only partly develops them. For example, the trust point is repeated several times (“build more trust” and “never ending trust”) rather than supported with a specific explanation or example. The long-term planning paragraph is also unclear, particularly “what time they will start doing this or may more.” You do not discuss any disadvantages, even briefly, so the comparison in the question is not fully addressed. Develop each reason with a concrete example and acknowledge a possible drawback, such as family disagreements.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, three body points introduced by “To begin with,” “Moreover” and “Furthermore,” and a conclusion that restates your view. This gives the reader a generally clear route through your argument. The linking phrases are sometimes mechanical, however, and the ideas within paragraphs do not always progress smoothly. For instance, the first body paragraph repeats the idea of trust without adding a distinct supporting point, while the second moves from long-term thinking to an unclear question about when work will start. The conclusion also repeats the body points rather than drawing them together. Use fewer repeated transitions and connect each claim to an explanation or example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “mutual trust,” “long-term perspectives,” “multiple tasks” and “flexible hours.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “earn money for their self needs,” “work as a one unit,” “make their bond more closer” and “long time period.” Spelling errors such as “immidiate” and “Futhermore” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the benefits without repeating “trust,” “work” and “family” so often.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and attempts to join ideas often contain errors. For example, “Two families work as a team build more trust” lacks a clear grammatical connection between the clauses, while “Family business will makes” has an incorrect verb form. There are also problems with agreement and sentence construction in “working with close ones have more pros” and “there is not need of schedule.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, including the capitalised “Two” after a comma. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly linked supporting clause before attempting longer structures.
