Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many countries, family members work together in their family business. I think this have many advantages because when we work together we easily face all the difficulties. There also some disadvantages of this due to some issues but we need to resolve this issues.
On the one hand, family business have many advantages like unity, streangth, more men power, etc. I think all those businesses must get succes that have unity. If business are faceing some difficulties then we must resolve it due to family support. In history there were also many examples about sucessful family businesses. For Example a shopkepper must gets sucess if he have a family support because it is very difficult to spend all day in one shop. If he do not get family support then he fell boring and stress in shop. This is the only one example that's why i think family members support must need in all businesses.
On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages of family businesses. There are many issues that are arrise due to involvement of family members but, we also resolve this issues easily by different ways. We need to make the rules in business if all the people follow the rules then the issue is not arrise. For Example if there are many issues in one family business we need to correct that things which arrise the issues. I think this is the best solution to resolve the issues in businesses.
In conclusion, family businesses get sucess in every stage. There are some issues that are arrise due to family membors involvment but we need to resolve that issues.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view that family businesses have more advantages, and you mention both sides of the question. The discussion of family support and shared effort is relevant, but the ideas remain limited and are often asserted rather than explained. For example, the shopkeeper example suggests that family help reduces the burden of working alone, but it does not show a specific outcome or provide much detail. The disadvantages are even less developed: you refer generally to “many issues” and rules, without identifying what conflicts might arise or weighing their seriousness against the benefits. To strengthen the response, explain one or two concrete advantages and disadvantages and make the comparison explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the change in focus, so the reader can follow the broad organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: several sentences repeat the idea that family support helps or that issues can be resolved, rather than adding a new step to the argument. References such as “this issues” and “that things” are also unclear, and the repeated use of “For Example” makes linking mechanical. Develop each paragraph in a clearer sequence—claim, explanation, specific example, and link back to your position—and vary your referencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use a small set of relevant terms, including “family support,” “unity,” “difficulties,” and “rules,” which makes the general topic understandable. However, the vocabulary is limited and repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “issues,” “resolve,” and “business.” Several spelling errors, such as “streangth,” “sucess,” “shopkepper,” and “membors,” are noticeable and reduce accuracy. Some combinations are also unnatural, including “more men power” and “get success.” Build a more precise range for discussing business relationships and outcomes, and check spelling carefully. More accurate collocations would make your examples clearer and help you express the advantages and disadvantages without relying on the same general words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, for example, “If business are faceing some difficulties then we must resolve it due to family support.” This shows an effort to explain causes and conditions, but the range is limited and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur throughout: “this have,” “business are,” “he have,” and “he do not.” Articles and sentence construction are also inconsistent, as in “There also some disadvantages” and “the issue is not arrise.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, even though the main meaning is usually recoverable. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and basic conditional patterns, then proofread each sentence for a complete verb and correct agreement.
