In most of the countries, a significant proportion of families work together in their well-established business settings which has several advantages as learning from experience, better problem solving skills and using a mixture of both traditional and modern method for progress. However, the drawbacks include property disputes in the future which negatively effects their relationships. The advantages are far more than disadvantages and this eassy will elaborate it further in detail.

Working in a family business facilitates youngsters to learn from the experience of their forefathers and they are less likely to repeat the mistakes as their elders. Additionally, when people work under the supervision of their senior family members they learn everything more precisely which helps them to tackle problems more efficiently and confidently. They get hands-on experience of dealing with the employees and emergency situations and can easily work normally under unfavourable circumtances. To illustrate, teenagers learn problem solving tricks by observing their parents and close relatives this would help them to take independent decisions in difficult situations.

In addition to it, Initiating a huge setup requires determination, consistency and years of endless hardwork after which the business attains a financially stable position and able to earn huge profits. contribute in a business to grow. For example, constructing and establishing and earning name for a business requires endless trail and error methods and then these are easily passed on from one generation to next generation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you believe the advantages of family businesses outweigh the disadvantages. You support this with relevant points about younger relatives learning from experienced family members, gaining practical skills, and inheriting an established business; you also acknowledge property disputes. This addresses the question, but some ideas are more fully explained than others. The learning and problem-solving points include an example, whereas the claim that successors can contribute “without putting much efforts” is not clearly explained and may understate the work involved. The disadvantage paragraph ends before its consequences are fully developed. To strengthen the response, explain how disputes affect the business and family, and make each example directly support your comparison of advantages and disadvantages.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages, and a paragraph on disadvantages. Linking phrases such as “Additionally,” “In addition to it,” and “For example” help signal relationships between points. However, progression is not consistently clear: the second advantages paragraph shifts from the effort required to establish a business to the ease of joining one, without fully connecting those ideas. The final paragraph also stops abruptly, leaving the discussion incomplete. Some transitions feel formulaic, and the opening two lines appear disconnected from the essay. Organise each paragraph around one clear main point, use references such as “this experience” to connect sentences, and finish with a conclusion that restates your judgement.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “hands-on experience,” “financially stable,” “property disputes,” and “unfavourable circumstances.” These choices help communicate the main ideas. However, the range is uneven, and several inaccurate or unnatural expressions make parts harder to follow, such as “well-established business settings,” “problem solving tricks,” and “the other sharers.” Spelling errors—including “improvemnt,” “clathes,” “circumtances,” and “becaue”—also reduce accuracy. Some phrases repeat general ideas about business growth without adding precision. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, describe relatives as “co-owners” or “family members with a stake,” and use “resolve problems” rather than “problem solving tricks.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning “when” and “which,” and most of your meaning can be understood. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction. For instance, “a significant proportion of families … which has” has an unclear agreement relationship, while “Joining a family business doesnot requires” combines an incorrect auxiliary with the verb form. In “the other sharers always fights,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the final sentence lacks a complete, clearly punctuated ending. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, and ensure that auxiliaries are followed by the base verb. Breaking long sentences into shorter units would also improve control.
