In many countries, family members work together in their family business.

Student answer (Band 6.0)
In lots of countries, individuals who live as a family, co-operatively work in their family business. I think family businesses have more upsides than downsides, because while working in family business, one does not have to find trusted individuals for partnership and earned money stays in family.
A person does not have to look for trusted persons for partnership which is very hard to find nowadays. When people have partnership in their family, they are bound by relations, which helps them to stay loyal to each other and work collabratively to achieve something great. For an example, lots of families in canada starts their own business by doing partnership with family members without having fear of trust. All individuals who earns from one family business, adds to household income, because of this, all the money from business stays in home, as they do not have to pay any outsider as a partner.
On the other side, there are some drawbacks of running a family business too. Sometimes, people cannot say freely about issues, they are having. This can happen because of being bound by relationship and thinking about how other person will feel.To illustrate, A person having problems with how money is divided into each one's share from revenue, do not challange or speak, even if he is getting less, as he is in relation with that person.
In my opinion, working together in family business have more advantages like trusted individuals and greater household income than disadvantages such as, discomfort about saying probelms freely to each other. Because finding trusted partners to start business is much more difficult than solving some small issues.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you believe family businesses have more advantages, particularly because relatives may be trusted partners and profits remain within the household. You address both sides by discussing loyalty and income, then the difficulty of raising concerns about revenue shares. These are relevant reasons, and the example about a family member receiving less gives the drawback some context. However, the advantages are more fully explained than the drawback, and the Canada example remains general rather than showing a specific outcome. To strengthen the response, develop the consequences of family disagreements and explain more precisely how shared income benefits the business or household.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion that restates your view. The progression from trust to shared income is understandable, and signposts such as “On the other side” help distinguish the counterargument. Some connections are less smooth or precise, however. For example, “For an example” introduces a broad claim about Canadian families rather than a concrete illustration, while “because of this” links ideas in a somewhat mechanical way. The final sentence also compresses the comparison into one long explanation. Use clearer links between each reason and its consequence, and make examples directly support the point in the paragraph.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “partnership,” “loyal,” “household income,” and “revenue.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “divided into each one's share.” However, several choices are informal, repetitive, or inaccurate for an essay: “lots of countries,” “upsides and downsides,” and “without having fear of trust” do not sound natural in context. Spelling errors such as “collabratively,” “challange,” and “probelms” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise collocations and a consistent formal register; for instance, describe relatives as “trusted business partners” and explain that profits “remain within the family.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a subordinate clause beginning “because while working in family business” and a contrast introduced by “although” in the final paragraph. The main ideas remain understandable, but errors in agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “families in canada starts,” “all individuals who earns,” and “working together in family business have.” The sentence beginning “A person having problems” is also awkwardly constructed, and punctuation is missing before “To illustrate.” These errors limit the accuracy of your varied structures. Check subject–verb agreement and article use, and practise building clear sentences with one main clause and a well-formed supporting clause.
