Student answer (Band 4.5)

In my opinion, Family Bussiness has both advantages and disadvantages. According to me family bussiness has

firstly- In family bussiness people learn about their own bussiness . Advantage is member of the family learn without pressue as due to support of the family. while you are in own bussiness , you learn by yourself as family supports you. No need to pay for own bussiness to learn hence it's free of cost.

Secondly, Now i talk about the disadvantages, There are not so many disadvantage of learning own bussiness. First and foremost, people can't learn outside bussiness as they only has one family bussiness. if a person learn bussiness out of the family, He learns about new technology and in own running bussiness he can not learn.

Conclusion- Both option has positive and negtive feedback. mostly people don;t work outside of the family bussiness due to they have the full set up of the current bussiness, In addition, Some goes aganist the family bussiness as they want to explore new thing in the bussiness.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You give a basic response to the topic and identify possible benefits and drawbacks, including family support and the chance to learn new technology elsewhere. However, your position is not clear: you say family businesses have both advantages and disadvantages, but do not answer whether their advantages outweigh their disadvantages. The ideas are also minimally developed; for example, “it’s free of cost” is mentioned without explaining how this benefits the business or its workers. The response is 177 words, below the required 250, and this limits the opportunity to explain and support your points. State your view directly, then develop each reason with a specific example and explanation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation: you use “firstly,” “secondly,” and a conclusion, and the reader can identify a benefit followed by a drawback. However, progression is not consistently clear. The opening ends unfinished (“According to me family bussiness has”), and the second paragraph shifts from discussing learning to the disadvantages of working in a family business without a clear link. Some connectors are mechanical or awkward, such as “First and foremost” and “In addition,” where the relationship between ideas is not fully clear. Use complete paragraphs with one main point each, and connect each explanation explicitly to the question of whether advantages outweigh disadvantages.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary is basic and repetitive, with “family bussiness,” “own bussiness,” and “learn” appearing repeatedly. You do communicate some relevant ideas, such as family support and exposure to “new technology,” but several expressions are imprecise or unnatural, including “positive and negtive feedback” and “full set up of the current bussiness.” Frequent spelling errors, including “Bussiness,” “pressue,” “negtive,” and “aganist,” also reduce accuracy and can distract the reader. Build a more varied set of topic vocabulary, such as “family-run enterprise,” “practical experience,” and “business operations,” and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, for example, “if a person learn bussiness out of the family, He learns about new technology.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, articles, sentence boundaries, and punctuation are frequent. Examples include “people … only has one family bussiness,” “Both option has,” and the run-on construction “Advantage is member of the family learn without pressue as due to support of the family.” Capitalisation is also inconsistent, as in “He” mid-sentence and “Now i.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build longer sentences from a clear main clause plus one supporting clause; proofread each sentence for complete structure and punctuation.
