Student answer (Band 5.0)
Although families who work in their family owned business may face certain challenges, I would argue that it has more positive sides than downsides because it provide more secure work environment and reduce the finacial burden of employees salaries.
A significant drawback of working in family business is financial problems, which may weaken their family bonds. These issues are often seen in families who have their own companies or factories. For example, in some situations when the business suffered from huge loss, than everyone prefer to think about their own future and try to search for another work for their own survival. In this senario, love and realtionships impaceted the most, which may even result into family disputes. Thus, it is clear that it har
To conclude, While I accept if family members work together to run thier traditional family business they may have some misunderstanding, I believe that if they work as a team they may feel more relaxed due to trust worthy kin and less economic burden.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear overall view in the opening—that family businesses have more advantages—and mention security and reduced salary costs. You also identify a relevant disadvantage: financial losses can create tension and disputes among relatives. However, the response addresses the question only partially: the advantages are asserted but not explained or supported, and the disadvantage is left unfinished at “Thus, it is clear that it har”. The conclusion repeats your position without adding support. The response is also 81 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to develop both sides. To strengthen the answer, complete the discussion, explain how trust or shared responsibility benefits the business, and give a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is a basic overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph about a disadvantage, and a conclusion. The ideas within the disadvantage paragraph follow a broadly understandable sequence from financial loss to family conflict, and phrases such as “For example” and “Thus” attempt to guide the reader. However, the progression is incomplete because the paragraph ends mid-sentence, and there is no developed paragraph explaining the advantages promised in the introduction. The conclusion begins with “To conclude” but largely repeats the opening. Build a separate paragraph for each main side, use clear topic sentences, and ensure each paragraph reaches a complete point before moving on.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial burden,” “family bonds,” “survival,” and “family disputes.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both economic and personal effects. However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response less clear, such as “finacial,” “senario,” “realtionships,” and “impaceted.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “search for another work” and “trust worthy kin.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations, such as “look for another job” and “trusted relatives.” Developing the response with more precise terms for shared costs, cooperation, and conflict would also broaden your vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of sentence forms, including a complex opening with “Although” and a conditional example beginning “when the business suffered.” However, control is uneven, and errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “it has more positive sides … because it provide” has a pronoun and subject–verb agreement problem, while “when the business suffered from huge loss, than everyone prefer” contains faulty clause construction and verb forms. The sentence beginning “Thus, it is clear” is incomplete, and the conclusion has inconsistent capitalization after “To conclude.” Practise complete sentence construction, agreement, articles, and consistent verb forms. Shorter, accurate sentences would help make your ideas clearer before you attempt more complex structures.
