Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: providing information about the theatre, issuing an invitation, and explaining why the actor is a suitable choice. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. The description of the theatre is a bit confusing, particularly the phrase 'world's biggest movie place' and the mention of 'watching movie in bed'. While the purpose of the letter is clear, the tone is inconsistent and lacks the professional polish expected in a formal request to a celebrity. To improve, ensure your explanations are more precise and that the tone remains consistently formal throughout the letter.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the logical flow between sentences is often disjointed. For example, the transition between the theatre description and the invitation is abrupt. You use some cohesive devices like 'moreover' and 'that is why', but they are sometimes used incorrectly or feel mechanical. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'that impact possible to all eyes', which makes the connection between ideas difficult to follow. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite repetitive and lacks the precision required for higher bands. Phrases like 'movie place' and 'famous entertainment company' are somewhat simplistic. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'precious invitation' (which sounds unnatural in this context) and 'all characteristics of charity'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more sophisticated vocabulary related to business and formal correspondence, and ensure that your word choices are contextually appropriate for a professional letter.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede communication. Issues include incorrect article usage ('in world biggest shopping mall'), subject-verb agreement ('your birthday is also on same month'), and awkward sentence structures ('Myself mr. Jain I am engaged...'). While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often marred by errors in punctuation and syntax. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically the use of articles, prepositions, and proper verb tenses. Proofreading for common errors like missing 'the' or incorrect word order will significantly improve your accuracy.
