Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt: providing information about the theatre, issuing the invitation, and explaining why the actor is a suitable choice. However, the development of these ideas is quite limited and repetitive. For example, the explanation of why the actor is a good choice relies heavily on the word 'lucky' rather than providing professional or artistic reasons. To improve, you should expand on your ideas with more specific details, such as the actor's specific contributions to cinema or how their presence would benefit the local community, rather than repeating that they are a 'lucky person'.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter is divided into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the progression of ideas is somewhat disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is very limited and often mechanical or misused, such as the abrupt transition 'However you are good in acting skill'. The referencing is also occasionally unclear, making it difficult to follow the flow of your argument. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' to connect your sentences and ideas more naturally and logically.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express your ideas clearly and professionally. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'I am fane of you' (fan) and 'cuts the riben' (ribbon). Additionally, phrases like 'we like most to you' are not natural English collocations. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning more precise vocabulary related to formal letter writing and the entertainment industry, and pay closer attention to spelling and standard word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the letter, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('The theatre is very important... there is no any theatre'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple and contain errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding, such as 'Witch is located in the north side of the Rajsathan'. You rely heavily on simple sentence structures and struggle with more complex ones. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and correct punctuation before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
