Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The letter addresses all three bullet points: providing information about the theatre, issuing an invitation, and explaining why the recipient is a suitable guest. However, the tone is inconsistent and overly informal for a professional request to a famous person. Phrases like 'Hi, Hope so you doing well' and 'u are my friend' lack the necessary professional distance and respect required for a formal business letter. While the content is relevant, the development of ideas is somewhat simplistic, and the lack of a formal register impacts the overall effectiveness of the communication.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The letter is generally coherent, but the paragraphing is poor. The entire body of the letter is written as a single, dense block of text, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover' and 'In this theatre', they are often used mechanically. The transition between the description of the theatre and the invitation is abrupt. To improve, you should use clear paragraph breaks to separate the introduction, the description, the invitation, and the closing remarks.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. There is an over-reliance on simple verbs like 'made' and 'put'. The use of 'u' instead of 'you' is unacceptable in any formal writing task and significantly lowers the score. There is little attempt to use sophisticated or topic-specific vocabulary related to theatre or professional invitations. To reach a higher band, you should avoid text-speak, expand your range of adjectives, and use more precise terminology, such as 'inauguration' instead of 'opening ceremony' or 'state-of-the-art' instead of 'new things'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with verb tenses ('I was working... from past few years'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on or lack proper punctuation, such as 'And one is for plays. Moreover, we made it...'. The use of 'business women' is a pluralization error (should be 'businesswoman'). While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevents the response from reaching a higher band. You should focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage.
