Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to cover all parts of the prompt, but it misunderstands the persona and recipient required by the task instructions. The prompt asks you to write a letter to a famous actor to invite them to open a new theatre. However, your response reads strangely as if you are describing the actor ("His actors name is Babu maan... If i traits of the renowed person, he is 35 year old") to a third party rather than addressing the celebrity directly, especially since you start with "Dear sir,". While you do provide some information about the theatre, invite him, and state why he would be suitable, the execution suffers from confusion regarding who the letter is being written to. Ideas are generally relevant, but the lack of direct address to the actor limits task fulfilment, placing this at a Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter lacks proper paragraphing, as almost the entire body is compressed into a single, dense block of text, which makes the progression harder to follow. While basic cohesive devices are attempted ("that is why", "Because he is role model"), they are often repetitive and mechanically used. Referencing is also confusing; for example, shifting from addressing "Dear sir" at the beginning to discussing the actor in the third person ("His actors name is Babu maan") creates a disconnect in the logical flow. There is some organisation in terms of introducing the venue and then the celebrity, but overall coherence is hampered by poor paragraph structuring and confusing referents. This aligns with Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, which impacts the clarity of the message. You use basic terms like "famous actor", "open theatre", and "role model" multiple times. There are noticeable word choice and collocation errors, such as "visiting in our cinema for increasing advertisement", "accessible of this theatre", and "advertise between people". Words are sometimes misused, such as "If i traits of the renowed person", where the verb or preposition is missing. Spelling is generally acceptable, but the overall lexical range is narrow and features frequent inaccuracies that cause some difficulty for the reader, fitting the Band 5.0 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response features a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on basic, repetitive sentence patterns joined by coordinating conjunctions like "and" and "so". When complex structures or dependent clauses are attempted, they frequently contain errors, such as missing subjects, incorrect verb forms ("Me and our team decided", "everyone has follow footsteps"), and faulty punctuation. There are persistent errors throughout the text, including tense issues and missing articles ("open new cinema", "in the centre of hometown"). These frequent errors cause difficulty for the reader and prevent the writing from achieving a higher band, placing it firmly at a Band 5.0.
