Dear Mr. Kapoor,
I am writing to inform that my company is going to open a new theatre in your city. The theatre will become centre attraction of our city, as it has good quality big screen as well as comfortable seating arrangement.
We would like to invite you to inaugurate this location. If you will be part of this event, there are more chances to attract your fans towards this theatre. Our company would like to accept all your needs. Once you accept our invitation, I will send you further details about this event. Moreover, our business partners are fond of your movies and their family members are hoping to click photos with you.
Please let me know if you have any concerns or issues related to this event then our company is willing to change anything as per your demand. Thank you in advance.
I am looking forward hearing from you.
Best regards

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You successfully cover all three bullet points required in the task. You provide basic information about the new theatre, mentioning its big screen and comfortable seating arrangement. You clearly invite Mr. Kapoor to inaugurate the location. Furthermore, you attempt to explain why he is a good choice by highlighting that his presence will attract fans, and you note that your business partners are fond of his movies. The tone is appropriately polite for a formal letter to a celebrity. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, particularly regarding the incentives offered to him and his fans. To reach a higher band, the reasons why he specifically should open the theatre could be expanded with more sophisticated arguments related to his artistic contribution or standing in the industry. Nevertheless, all parts of the prompt are addressed adequately.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
Your letter has a coherent overall arrangement and follows a logical structure appropriate for formal correspondence, beginning with a clear salutation and ending with a formal sign-off. Paragraphing is used to separate the introduction, the body of the invitation, and the concluding remarks, although the body paragraphs could be better organized to group related ideas. Cohesive devices are used, but they are sometimes mechanical or basic, such as 'Moreover' and 'Please let me know'. Additionally, referencing in sentences like 'If you will be part of this event, there are more chances to attract your fans' feels slightly unnatural. Overall, the flow of information is clear enough for the reader to follow without difficulty.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate vocabulary range for the task, attempting some less common phrases like 'inaugurate this location' and 'comfortable seating arrangement'. However, there are notable word choice and collocation errors throughout the text. For instance, writing 'inform that my company' is missing an object pronoun ('inform you that'), and 'centre attraction' should be 'the center of attraction'. Phrases like 'there are more chances to attract' and 'accept all your needs' sound unnatural in English. Spelling and basic word formation are generally accurate, but the frequent minor inaccuracies in collocation and lexical choices prevent you from achieving a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing conditional clauses like 'If you will be part of this event' and relative clauses. However, there are several grammatical errors that persist. The conditional structure 'If you will be part' is incorrect; it should be 'If you are part'. Another error occurs in the final paragraph: 'I am looking forward hearing from you' is missing the preposition 'to' before the gerund ('looking forward to hearing'). Additionally, the clause 'if you have any concerns or issues related to this event then our company is willing' contains a redundancy with the inclusion of 'then'. Despite these errors, communication is rarely impeded, and the meaning remains clear throughout.
