Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

The response successfully covers all three parts of the prompt, earning a solid score in this category. You clearly introduce the new Raj Kapoor theater, invite Mr. Khan to open it, and explain why he is a suitable person for the role due to your admiration for his inspiring commitment to art. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others, which prevents a higher score. For instance, while the invitation and the request for him to cut the ribbon are stated, the details about the new theatre and its broader community aims remain slightly general and repetitive. Extending these points with more specific descriptions of the facilities or events planned would have pushed this response into the higher bands.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement and follows an appropriate semi-formal structure, starting with a suitable opening and closing with your title as event coordinator. Ideas are generally grouped logically, moving from the introduction of the venue to the invitation and finally to practical arrangements like travel expenses. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. There are noticeable issues with punctuation and sentence boundary demarcation, such as run-on sentences joined by commas rather than full stops or appropriate conjunctions (e.g., 'Raj kapoor theater is world renouned theatre in india .Which provide great opportunity...'). Furthermore, paragraphing could be managed more effectively to separate distinct points regarding the venue, the invitation, and the logistical details.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, demonstrating an attempt to use less common items, but it is marred by frequent spelling and word-choice inaccuracies. Words such as 'writting', 'latter', 'renouned', 'beginers', 'plateform', 'atr', 'aswellas', 'realy', 'travell', 'accomodation', 'perticular', and 'telanted' contain basic spelling mistakes. Additionally, there are collocation and word formation issues, such as 'produce dynamic cultural hub' instead of 'create a dynamic cultural hub' and 'upbringing creativity' instead of 'nurturing creativity'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, their frequency restricts your lexical score to this level. To improve, you need to focus on correct spelling, word forms, and natural collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional structures ('We would realy appreciate if you would come...') and relative clauses. However, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that pull down the score. Capitalization is inconsistent at the beginning of sentences and with proper nouns (e.g., 'on friday 20th july', 'zohra'). There are also article errors, such as omitting necessary articles ('in our opening ceremony', 'give small speech'), and issues with subject-verb agreement and tense consistency (e.g., 'We will happy to arrange'). While communication remains possible, the accumulation of structural and punctuation errors means that error-free sentences are not frequent enough to reach a higher band.
