Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three requested points: you describe the theatre and its opening date, invite Amir Khan to attend, and explain that his film career and popularity would help promote it. The purpose is clear and the tone is appropriately polite. The invitation itself could be more specific: “your valuable a five minutes” does not clearly state what you would like him to do at the event, such as formally open the theatre or give a short speech. The theatre details are also brief, and the reason based on his career is asserted rather than developed. The response therefore covers the task, but some points are less fully explained; adding a little detail about the venue and the actor’s role would make the letter more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening invitation, a paragraph about the theatre, a paragraph requesting the actor’s presence, and a final explanation of his suitability. This makes the message easy to follow, and phrases such as “Moreover” and “Thank you for considering my invitation” help connect ideas and signal the closing. Some transitions feel mechanical, particularly “Addressing the details” and “There are numberous reasons,” which announce the next point without linking it smoothly to the reader. The invitation and the explanation of suitability could also be ordered or connected more naturally. For stronger progression, use direct transitions and make the actor’s role at the opening lead into the reasons he is an appropriate choice.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for a formal invitation, including “inauguration,” “valuable,” “promote,” and “considering my invitation.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and the tone is generally suitable. However, several word-choice and spelling problems reduce precision: “an inauguration” is less natural here than “the opening ceremony,” while “theatre” and “cinema” are not interchangeable in this context. There are also spelling errors in “dowtown,” “contruction,” “speacial,” and “numberous.” The phrase “your valuable a five minutes” is unclear and needs a more natural expression. Check spelling carefully and choose collocations that fit the event and the request.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple sentences and more developed structures, including “I know you are very busy, and you are working in many movies nowadays” and the relative clause “which would help us promote our theatre.” Most of the message remains understandable, and the paragraphs contain clear sentence boundaries. Some grammatical errors are present, however. For example, “one of the biggest cinema” needs a plural noun, and “There are numberous reasons” requires an article before “number” in the intended construction. “I would appreciate your valuable a five minutes” also has an incorrect noun phrase, while “Inauguration will be placed” uses an unsuitable passive construction. Practise articles, plurals, and natural sentence patterns for making requests.
