Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover all three required points: you describe the theatre and its location, invite the actor to the opening, and explain why you admire him, including his charitable work. The invitation is clear in “we will be very glad if you will come,” and the details about the planned screens and opening date make the letter relevant. However, the reason he would be a suitable person to open the theatre is only partly developed: being a famous personality and a charitable person explains your admiration, but not quite how his presence would benefit or represent the new venue. The theatre description also includes details such as its area without explaining their significance. Develop these points more directly and make the invitation’s purpose and occasion precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it introduces the invitation, gives information about the theatre, explains your admiration, and closes by asking about availability. Paragraphing helps distinguish these functions, and phrases such as “As you are” signal a shift to your reason for inviting the actor. Some connections are less smooth or clear, however. “This is the first time, we are opening our branch in some province” is difficult to connect to the previous sentence, and “that day” is repeated without restating the opening ceremony. The final request also follows abruptly from the explanation. Use clearer transitions and refer consistently to the opening event so that the progression feels less mechanical.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main details, including “special guest,” “expand,” “charitable works,” and “audience.” There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “20 screens” and “centre of the city.” However, several spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “cermony,” “convinent,” and “availabilty” are misspelled, while “famous personality of our society” and “cover every countries movies” are unnatural or unclear combinations. “Theatre” and “cinema” are also used in ways that could be more precise for this context. Proofread spelling and learn common collocations for formal invitations; more natural phrasing would make the message sound more polished without requiring a much wider vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, for example the sentence explaining the company’s expansion and the clause beginning “as there will be around 20 screens.” The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. The opening sentence lacks a clear main verb after “I am a marketing director,” and “which will be begin” combines incompatible verb forms. Other examples include “if you will come” and “Please let me know you availability,” where the conditional or possessive structure needs correction. Commas also interrupt some sentences unnecessarily, as in “This is the first time, we are opening.” Practise complete sentence structures, verb forms, articles, and possessives, then check punctuation to make your varied sentences more accurate.
