Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You make a relevant attempt to invite the actor and give a little information about the venue, mentioning its red theme and its location near the company. You also suggest that the actor’s experience in the Punjabi industry could be useful. However, the task is addressed only partially: the invitation is not clearly developed with an opening date or event details, and the reason the actor would be a suitable person is vague (“you give us the tips”). The response also contains 107 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 150. Add specific information about the theatre and opening, explain the actor’s influence or connection to the audience, and develop the invitation in a complete letter.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a basic sequence: it introduces the invitation, describes the theatre, and then asks the actor to attend. This gives the reader a general sense of the purpose. However, the ideas are not consistently connected or clearly expressed, particularly in the final paragraph: “if you come day day is very memorable” is difficult to follow. There are no clear paragraph breaks to distinguish the venue information from the invitation and explanation, and linking between points is limited. Organise the letter into short paragraphs, use a clear progression from background to invitation to reasons, and make each sentence’s relationship to the next explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “theatre,” “opening day,” “modern look,” and “Punjabi industry,” so the basic topic is identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the message less clear or less natural. For example, “threatre” and “aprrreciate” are misspelled, while “all the things and material” is vague and “tips for our theatre” does not precisely explain the actor’s contribution. Choose more specific terms such as “facilities,” “interior design,” or “advice on promoting the theatre.” Proofreading spelling and using natural collocations would make the invitation clearer and more professional.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The writing relies mainly on short, simple statements, with a limited attempt to connect ideas in “as workers can go anytime for practice.” Frequent errors in sentence structure and verb forms sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “I would like to invite to you” has an incorrect sentence pattern, “Our company open” lacks the appropriate verb form, and “We will organized” uses the wrong form after “will.” The final sentence also lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise standard invitation patterns (“I would like to invite you…”) and check verb forms after auxiliaries, as well as articles and sentence boundaries.
