Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You cover all three required points: you describe the theatre as being in the city centre, invite Babbu Maan to the opening, and explain that his popularity and motivational speaking could attract visitors. The reasons for choosing him are relevant, especially the link between his followers and potential customers. However, some details are unclear or under-developed: “as soon as” does not say when the theatre will open, and the address is given without explaining anything about the venue itself. The invitation also sounds more like a business request than a polished formal invitation. Add a little more specific information about the theatre and make the opening event and invitation clearer to strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The letter follows a broadly sensible order: you introduce the theatre, explain its location, make the invitation, and give reasons for choosing the actor. Connectors such as “Moreover,” “Because,” and “Another thing” help signal relationships between ideas. However, the response is presented as one long paragraph, so the information and invitation are not clearly separated. Some links are also awkward or repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “because” and the long sentence beginning “I hope you will definitely visit…”. Use separate paragraphs for the theatre details, the invitation and reasons, and the closing arrangements. Shorter sentences and clearer references would make the progression easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “theatre,” “followers,” “role model,” and “permanent customers.” These choices show an attempt to explain the actor’s appeal and the business benefit of the event. However, the range is limited and several phrases are unnatural or imprecise, such as “invitation of famous actors,” “new ceremony,” and “touch contact with number of people.” These expressions may make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Aim for more natural collocations and a suitably formal tone, for example, “invite a well-known actor to the opening ceremony” and “reach a wider audience.” Check word forms and spelling, including the capitalisation of “I.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and a longer sentence explaining how the actor might attract customers. The main message is generally understandable, but errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction occur across the letter. For example, “he will helps me” should be “he will help me,” while “I decide to open” needs a suitable tense such as “I have decided to open.” The final sentence also combines several requests without clear grammatical structure. Practise accurate modal verb patterns, consistent tense choices, and sentence boundaries; these changes would make your ideas clearer while preserving your attempts at complex sentences.
