Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The letter covers all three required points: it describes the theatre and its facilities, invites Akshay to open it, and gives reasons for choosing him, including his charitable support and acting career. The invitation is clear, and the details about the location, recliner seats, parking and children’s play area make the description relevant. Some points are less fully developed: the opening date is mentioned, but the event’s timing or format is not explained, and the reasons for his suitability rely partly on personal admiration rather than explaining his wider connection to the theatre or audience. Adding a little more detail about the ceremony and linking his public profile to the occasion would make the purpose more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information is arranged in a sensible sequence: the purpose comes first, followed by theatre details, practical arrangements, reasons for the invitation and a closing expression of enthusiasm. Paragraphing helps distinguish these points, and connectors such as “Moreover” and “In addition” guide the reader. Some links are mechanical or unclear, however. The sentence beginning “As it is organised on November 3rd” does not connect smoothly to the invitation, and “Our employee” followed by “he” leaves the reference somewhat vague. The final two paragraphs also repeat the writer’s excitement. Smoother transitions and a more concise closing would strengthen the progression while preserving the clear overall organisation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response uses enough vocabulary to describe the venue and make a polite invitation, with relevant phrases such as “recliner seats,” “extra leg room,” “financial support” and “opening ceremony.” There are also attempts at more expressive language, including “dashing personality” and “big heart.” However, several word choices, collocations and spelling forms are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “famous entertainment company,” “food serving facilities,” “gaming equipments” and “exited.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding the message, but they limit precision and naturalness. Choose conventional expressions such as “well-known production company,” “food and beverage services” and “gaming equipment,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The letter includes both simple statements and some attempts at more complex structures, for example “As it is organised on November 3rd…” and “You always provide grants to schools and people who needs financial support.” The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. The opening sentence fragment beginning “As it is organised” is not securely attached to the preceding sentence; “one of the famous entertainment company” has an agreement error; and “people who needs” should use a plural verb. There are also problems with possessive and article patterns in “take care of your all luggage” and “our great pleasure.” Work on complete sentence construction, subject–verb agreement and noun phrases, while retaining the range of sentence forms attempted here.
