Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You make an attempt to cover all three points: you mention the theatre’s planned activities, invite the actor to attend and open it, and explain that their fame and experience could attract and encourage people. However, the information about the venue is unclear and partly confusing: the claim that it helps people buy “clothes food bike cars” does not explain what the theatre offers. The invitation is repeated rather than made specific, and the reasons the actor is suitable are brief and general. The opening “Dear sir” also does not address the famous actor appropriately when the task allows either gender. Give clear, relevant details about the theatre and explain more specifically how the actor’s presence would benefit its opening.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is some basic organisation: the response begins with the purpose, gives information about the venue, and then discusses the invitation and the actor’s suitability. However, the progression is difficult to follow because ideas run together, and the invitation is repeated in several places without adding new information. For example, “I hope you attend” and “I hope you come and open theater” express essentially the same point. The long middle section combines several unrelated details in one paragraph, while punctuation and paragraph breaks do little to show how the ideas connect. Use separate, purposeful paragraphs and link each point clearly, so the reader can follow the theatre description, invitation, and reasons in sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Your vocabulary is basic but includes some relevant terms, such as “entertainment activities,” “performance,” “dance,” and “music.” However, repeated general words such as “people,” “good person,” and “open” limit precision, and several choices make the meaning unclear. “Buy protdects” appears to be an inaccurate word choice or spelling, while “conventional price” does not clearly express the intended idea. The phrase “people knew you and enjoyed your movies songs” also needs more natural wording. Build a small set of accurate phrases for formal invitations and theatre events, and choose specific terms for the venue’s facilities and audience benefits.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response relies mainly on short, simple statements, with attempts to join ideas that are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and sentence construction occur frequently, as in “I invited you open theater” and “if you come here and open the theater than people are come here.” Articles and agreement are also inconsistent: “open new ceremony” and “people is” would need different grammatical forms. The closing “your faithfully” shows difficulty with a standard letter formula. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Practise complete sentence patterns such as “I would like to invite you to open…” and check verb forms, articles, and subject–verb agreement before submitting.
