Dear Sir,

I hope this letter finds you doing well.I work at an entertainment corporation which is deciding to open a new cinema soon. So, we wanted to invite you to inaugurate our new theatre.

We are planning to open it on November 2, 2026 around 6pm.Moreover, it is quite close to the film city where most of your shoots take place. Our theatre will have special seperate enteries for high profile guests like you and we asssure to manage the security. It is unlike other theathres since we have managed to put tuscany heat and massage arrangment for every seat.

It would be an honour if you could come and bless us with your presence. We really acknowledge your work and admire it with utmost respect.Considering the fan following you have we could not think of anyone else to do the needful.

Also,it would be beneficial for us to generate a lot of popularity and more amount of people will get to know about our theatre. Thus, increasing our revenue and sales in long run.

It will be highly appreciable if you could come.I hope to hear back from you soon.

Yours faithfully,

Drishti

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three required points: you describe the theatre and its location, invite the actor to inaugurate it, and explain both their popularity and your admiration for their work. The specific opening date and time, plus the mention of security arrangements, make the invitation relevant and concrete. This meets the task well, with some elements already showing the clear, purposeful development expected at a stronger level. However, the theatre’s distinctive feature—“tuscany heat and massage arrangment for every seat”—is difficult to understand, and the reasons for choosing this actor are not fully developed beyond their fan following and your respect. Clarify the facility and explain more specifically how the actor’s career or connection to the area makes them an ideal guest.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a sensible overall sequence: it introduces the invitation, gives details about the venue, explains why the actor is suitable, and closes politely. Paragraphing helps separate these purposes, and the date, time, and location are easy to find. However, some linking is mechanical or awkward. “Moreover,” “Also,” and “Thus” are used to connect points that could flow more naturally, and “Thus, increasing our revenue and sales in long run” is a fragment rather than a complete continuation. There are also missing spaces after full stops, which interrupt the presentation. Use clearer transitions and connect the commercial benefit to the invitation in a complete sentence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a reasonable range of vocabulary for a formal invitation, including “inaugurate,” “high profile guests,” “security,” and “fan following.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and the tone is generally respectful. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “bless us with your presence,” “do the needful,” and “more amount of people.” Spelling errors in “seperate,” “enteries,” “asssure,” “theathres,” and “arrangment” also reduce accuracy. The description “tuscany heat” is unclear to the reader. Aim for precise, natural expressions and check spelling carefully; this would make the letter sound more polished and professional.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and more complex forms, including the conditional invitation “It would be an honour if you could come” and the relative clause “where most of your shoots take place.” Most of the message remains understandable, which is a strength. Some grammatical and punctuation errors persist, however. In “I hope this letter finds you doing well.I work,” a space is needed after the full stop; similar spacing problems occur elsewhere. “Thus, increasing our revenue” is an incomplete sentence, and “more amount of people will get to know” has an awkward grammatical construction. The phrase “in long run” also needs an article. Review sentence boundaries and article use, and make sure each sentence has a complete main clause.
