Dear Rajesh,
I am writing this letter on the behalf of Youth Foundation Entertainment Media Company to invite you as a Chief Guest for our opening ceremony of our newly developed art theater. This theater will provide a platform to all young and aspiring artists to perform and showcase their talent to local community and film media industry.
This will be our honour if you accept the invitation and present there for ribbion cutting ceremony on 25th October at 2 pm. Moreover, you had started your journey from local art theater and dedicated your whole life towards promoting local art cultural around the world. I believe this is a moment where you can aspire more young talent to contribute towards arts.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
The letter addresses all three requirements: it describes the theatre as a platform for young artists, invites Rajesh to the opening on 25 October, and explains his connection to local theatre and his potential to inspire emerging performers. The purpose is clear and the reasons for choosing him are relevant. The explanation of the venue is brief, however, and the case for his suitability relies mainly on general praise rather than specific details about his achievements or influence. The invitation could also be made more complete by clarifying what you would like him to do beyond attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Developing these points with a little more specific support would make the response more fully persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The information follows a sensible sequence: the opening paragraph introduces the company and theatre, the next gives the invitation and its rationale, and the final paragraph describes the hoped-for benefit of his presence. This makes the letter easy to follow, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “We all be delighted” help connect the ideas. Some connections are less smooth, particularly the shift from the date and ceremony to the actor’s background, and the final paragraph repeats the idea that his presence will motivate young people. Clearer paragraph focus and more precise links between the invitation, his experience, and the event would make the progression feel more controlled and less repetitive.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The response uses a suitable range of vocabulary for a formal invitation, including “aspiring artists,” “showcase their talent,” and “promoting local art.” These choices communicate the purpose and give the letter an appropriately respectful tone. There are, however, several inaccurate or awkward expressions that limit precision, such as “Chief Guest,” “ribbion cutting ceremony,” “aspire more young talent,” and “local art cultural.” Spelling and word-form choices such as “carrer” and “professional” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, “inspire young artists” and “promote local arts and culture” express your intended meaning more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the sentence beginning “Moreover, you had started your journey…” and the clause explaining how the actor could inspire young people. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “on the behalf” needs a different article pattern, “This will be our honour if you accept” has an awkward conditional structure, and “We all be delighted” is missing an auxiliary verb. There are also issues with tense and agreement in “you had started” and “motivates and guide them.” Use a consistent present or past tense where appropriate, and check that each clause has a complete verb and that subjects agree with their verbs.
