Dear Sir,

I hope you will be fine. I am writting this letter to inform you that our company is going to open another branch of the theatre. I am the manager of this entertainment company. All the working of this theatre is done under my supervision. Additionally, this branch will be specified for the children upto 18 years old. Programmes will be played just according to the interest of this age group and informative too. Moreover, the sitting will be comfortable and some snacks will be available just along with ticket office.

As you know the most part of money earned through this company is already sent to charity. So I would like to invite you to please take some time to come at the opening ceremony and contribute in this act of chartiy.

You are very popular among the children of this age group. Your participation have some positive influence on the advertisement of this new theatre. I hope you will take my request in to your consideration.

Yours Sincerely,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requirements: you describe the theatre as a venue for children, invite the actor to the opening ceremony, and explain that their popularity could help promote it. The details about programmes, seating and snacks make the description relevant. However, some points are not fully clear or developed. For example, the reference to charity is introduced as a reason to attend, but its connection to the opening event is not explained, and the invitation does not specify when or where the ceremony will take place. The reason the actor is suitable is also brief: popularity and advertising are mentioned, but you could explain their connection with the theatre’s young audience more fully. Overall, the purpose is clear, though some parts need fuller support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall sequence: you introduce yourself and the theatre, make the invitation, and then explain why the actor is suitable. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “Moreover,” and “So” guide the reader through the points. Some connections are less smooth or precise, however. The shift from the theatre’s facilities to the company’s charitable donations feels abrupt, and “So” does not clearly show how the charity point leads to the invitation. The repeated use of additive transitions also makes the linking somewhat mechanical. A clearer paragraph focused on the invitation, including practical event details, and more explicit links between ideas would improve progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main purpose and describe the venue, including “informative,” “comfortable,” “participation,” and “positive influence.” However, several noticeable word-choice and collocation problems make parts of the letter sound unnatural or less precise. For instance, “another branch of the theatre” may suggest a branch of a business rather than a new venue, while “programmes will be played” and “the sitting will be comfortable” are not natural ways to describe theatre performances and seating. There are also spelling errors in “writting” and “chartiy.” Aim to learn common phrases for invitations and venue descriptions, and check spelling carefully. This would make your meaning more fluent and precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and more developed sentence forms, including the relative clause in “Programmes will be played just according to the interest of this age group” and the conditional-style explanation about the actor’s influence. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur. Examples include “Your participation have,” where the subject requires a singular verb, and “come at the opening ceremony,” where the preposition pattern is incorrect. “I hope you will be fine” and “take my request in to your consideration” also show problems with sentence phrasing and construction. Work on subject–verb agreement, prepositions after common verbs, and natural sentence patterns. Greater accuracy in these areas, alongside your existing sentence variety, would strengthen the letter.
