Dear Akshak Kumar,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing to warmly invite you to our inauguration ceremony for our new theatre in Navi Mumbai on November 5th,2026 at 10:00 am.
Basically, the theatre is located near Film City in Navi Mumbai and is dedicated to entertainment content creators to show their talent to the world. The theatre contains a huge seating area with a large platform and a movable screen to use the space multipurpose. For instance, the theatre has amenities to enjoy movie premieres conveniently and comfortably, and same space can be converted for dance performances as well.
Considering you as an inspiration for many people, we would love to invite you to the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m., as our team would like to open the theatre with you, followed by a speech and some drama and dance performances. Your presence will invite many other people to join us in our memorable moment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.5
The letter addresses all three requirements clearly: it describes the theatre and its facilities, invites Akshak Kumar to the opening, and explains why his entertainment experience makes him suitable. Details such as the location near Film City, the movable screen, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony make the invitation specific and relevant. The reason that he is “an inspiration for many people” is also supported by the theatre’s aim to showcase talent. Some points are less fully developed: the description of the venue’s purpose and facilities is somewhat general, and the benefit of his presence is mainly expressed as attracting other guests. A little more detail about the event’s significance or his particular influence would make the ideas more fully developed and precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it opens with the invitation, gives information about the venue, explains the proposed ceremony and the actor’s suitability, then closes politely. Paragraphing helps distinguish these functions, and phrases such as “Considering you as an inspiration” and “To be honest” signal relationships between ideas. However, some linking feels mechanical or unclear. The repeated invitation and opening details in the second and third paragraphs could be combined, while “Your presence will invite many other people” does not clearly express the intended connection. The final paragraph also moves quickly from the reason for inviting him to practical arrangements. More precise referencing and smoother transitions would strengthen the progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for a formal invitation and includes some useful topic-specific expressions, such as “inauguration ceremony,” “ribbon-cutting ceremony,” “movable screen,” and “versatile talent.” These choices communicate the event and venue effectively. There are, however, several imprecise or unnatural collocations that limit flexibility and control: “large platform” may not convey the intended stage, “use the space multipurpose” is awkward, and “Your presence will invite many other people” uses the wrong verb for attracting guests. “Special requirements you have for event” is also not idiomatic. Aim for more natural combinations and precise verbs, while retaining the formal tone. The message remains understandable despite these word-choice issues.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The response uses a mix of simple and complex forms, including the relative clause in “a theatre ... that is dedicated” and the reason clause beginning “since.” Most sentences communicate the intended meaning, but some grammatical errors remain. In “the same space can be converted,” the article is needed; “to use the space multipurpose” has an incomplete grammatical construction; and “requirements you have for event” needs an article before “event.” The sentence beginning “Considering you as an inspiration” is also not well formed as an introductory phrase. Punctuation and spacing around the date and repeated time reference could be more consistent. Revising these patterns and checking articles and clause structure would improve accuracy while preserving the range of sentence forms.
