The theatre will be the new attraction for many people where they will have a great time of their lives while watching different acts of different actors. It will be the second theatre built in this city where the first theatre is a small one, now it is expanded so many viewers will visit out new attraction.
We wanted you to be the star of the night where you will be the one to open the doors to the people and will expound the newly built theatre to the media so it will be exposed in all platforms and make it a outstanding show of content also.
You are the best candidate to this job of promoting the attraction to other people because you have been doing this for years and we commend that type of grind where you also a theatre actress. We wanted to have a great impression also make the theatre acts to be global sensation or a new trend to this generation where anyone can attend this building or this event.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three required points: you describe the theatre and its opening date, invite Ms Salonga to open it, and explain that her experience as a theatre actress could help attract attention. The purpose is clear, and the invitation is relevant throughout. However, some details are less fully developed or unclear. For example, “the second theatre built in this city” is followed by a confusing explanation about the first theatre being expanded, and the reason she is a suitable guest relies mainly on general promotion rather than specific achievements or influence. Make the theatre’s features more concrete and explain more precisely how her career connects to the opening. A clear request for her availability would also make the invitation more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable structure, with separate paragraphs for the theatre, the invitation, and the reasons for choosing the actor. This helps the reader follow the main purpose, and the closing is appropriate. Overall, the ideas are arranged coherently, but some links are mechanical or unclear. Repeated phrases such as “newly built theatre” and “where” make the progression feel less natural, while the sentence beginning “The theatre will be the new attraction” combines several ideas without clearly showing their relationship. The reference to the first theatre being “a small one” and then “expanded” also interrupts the explanation. Use clearer transitions and divide long sentences so each paragraph develops one main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “guest of the night,” “media,” “global sensation,” and “theatre actress.” There are also attempts to use more expressive language. However, several choices are inaccurate, informal, or unnatural for a formal invitation: “type of grind,” “expound the newly built theatre,” and “outstanding show of content” do not express the intended meaning clearly. “A great time of their lives” and “exposed in all platforms” are also awkward collocations. Spelling and capitalisation errors, including “writting,” “madison,” and “out,” reduce accuracy. Choose precise, conventional phrases for describing the venue, the guest’s role, and the publicity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The letter includes both simple sentences and attempts at longer, more complex structures, so you show some range. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “our company TvN, plans” has an unnecessary comma, while “where you also a theatre actress” is missing the verb “are.” In “make it a outstanding show,” the article should be “an,” and “we wanted to have a great impression also make” needs a clearer grammatical link between the actions. Several long sentences join clauses with repeated “where” or “and,” making relationships difficult to follow. Use shorter, controlled sentences and check articles, verb forms, and clause connections.
