Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address the main purpose by describing the theatre, inviting the actor, and giving a reason for the invitation. Details such as the large hall, lighting, snacks, and sleeper seats provide some relevant information. However, the explanation of why the actor is suitable is very limited: “your behaviour sucha straightforward” does not clearly explain their connection to the theatre or why they would be an appropriate guest. The invitation also lacks practical details, such as the opening date or what you would like the actor to do. The response is 11 words below the required minimum, which contributes to the ideas remaining under-developed. Add specific event information and expand your reasons for choosing this actor.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter follows a broadly sensible order: it introduces the company and theatre, describes some facilities, then makes the invitation and closes. This helps the reader identify the purpose. However, the ideas are crowded into one paragraph, and the transition from the theatre description to the invitation is abrupt. Some links between ideas are unclear, particularly in “if you are came this speacial event it is a big surprise.” The opening and closing are present, but the greeting “Dear sir” is not tailored to a famous actor whose name or title could be used. Separate the information into paragraphs and use clear links such as “We would therefore be delighted to invite you” to make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “entertainment company,” “large hall,” “lighting,” and “opening celebration.” This gives the reader a basic picture of the venue and event. However, the range is limited, and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts difficult to understand. For example, “information about” is used where “inform you about” is needed, while “sleeper seat” and “behaviour sucha straightforward” do not express the intended meaning clearly. Spelling errors such as “visiters,” “speacial,” and “sincerly” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of phrases for describing facilities, making a formal invitation, and explaining why a guest is suitable.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts to combine ideas in longer sentences, for example when describing the theatre and inviting the actor, but these structures are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement appear in “Our entertainment company want” and “if you are came,” while “In this theatre will be a large hall” lacks a correctly formed subject structure. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: “in a break” and the comma splice in “I hope you are doing well, I am writing…” make the writing less controlled. Most sentences are understandable in context, but frequent errors can make the reader pause. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses using correct verb forms and punctuation.
