Dear Mr. Atif,
I hope this finds you in good health. I work for AZ entertainment and I am writing this letter to invite you to the opening ceremony of our prestigious new theatre "Aloha". The theatre targets the genre of thriller, and being the renowned star of thriller and mystery, we will be honoured to welcome you as chief guest.
The theatre is located on Onaiza Street, just beside the iconic Galaxy Tower. It can seat up to 1700 people, so please expect a warm welcome by anticipating fans. You will be accompanied by our General Manager during the ceremony and your speech will be ahared with your assistant for review.
Here at AZ entertainment, we value your work. Being a famous celebrity of thriller, you will be great fit to the ceremony. Especially with your recent work in Aree play. We expect fans to love your story and share your love with us. The ceremony is scheduled for 19th of this month.
Please feel free to ask questions if you have any.
Yours sincere

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three required points: you describe the theatre’s thriller focus, location and capacity, invite Mr. Atif to the opening, and explain his connection to the genre and its audience. The invitation is clear, and details such as the ceremony date and the planned welcome make it relevant. However, the reason he would be a suitable guest is only partly developed: “you will be great fit” and the reference to his recent work do not explain in much detail how his career or influence would make the opening special. The sentence about his speech being shared with his assistant is also unclear in purpose. Develop these points and make the invitation’s arrangements more explicit to strengthen the letter.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it opens with the purpose, gives information about the theatre, explains why the actor is invited, and closes politely. Paragraphing helps distinguish these functions, and phrases such as “Here at AZ entertainment” signal a shift to the company’s appreciation. Some connections between ideas are less clear, however. “Especially with your recent work in Aree play” is a fragment, while “We expect fans to love your story and share your love with us” does not clearly connect the actor’s work to the event. The sentence about the speech and assistant also interrupts the flow of the theatre details. Clarify these relationships and use linking expressions naturally rather than relying on abrupt transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for a formal invitation, including “opening ceremony,” “renowned,” “iconic,” and “accompanied,” and the theatre’s genre and capacity are communicated clearly. There are also attempts at more distinctive phrasing, such as “prestigious new theatre,” though some choices are inaccurate or unnatural: “the genre of thriller” would be more idiomatic as “the thriller genre,” and “great fit to the ceremony” is not a natural collocation. “Your story” and “share your love” are vague in this context, and “ahared” is a spelling error. Aim for precise, conventional expressions for the actor’s role and the event, and proofread spelling and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and more complex sentence forms, including the opening sentence with “I am writing … to invite you” and the clause beginning “being the renowned star.” Most of the message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. “You will be great fit” needs an article (“a great fit”), and “Especially with your recent work in Aree play” is an incomplete sentence that should be joined to the preceding idea or rewritten as a full sentence. The closing “Yours sincere” also needs the correct adjective form, “Yours sincerely.” Review articles, sentence completeness, and formal letter conventions, while retaining the varied sentence structures you have attempted.
