Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three required points: you describe the theatre’s screens, sound system, paintings and facilities, invite the actor to inaugurate it, and explain that their talent and kindness make them a suitable guest. The reference to DDLJ also makes the invitation personal. However, some details are unclear or under-developed. For example, the opening says the venue is a “cinema club,” while later it is called a “multiplex theatre,” and the reason for choosing the actor could be linked more directly to their influence on audiences or contribution to cinema. The birthday invitation is also unexpected and could be explained. Clarifying these points and developing the actor-specific reasons would make the letter more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter follows a generally sensible order: it introduces the purpose, describes the venue, makes the invitation, and gives reasons for selecting the actor. Paragraph breaks help distinguish the description from the invitation. Linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “Moreover,” and “Therefore” show an effort to connect ideas, but some transitions feel mechanical or do not express the relationship accurately. For instance, “Therefore” introduces the invitation without a clear cause, while “Despite of several influencing figures” makes the reasoning difficult to follow. The final offer to work together also shifts the focus. Use clearer paragraphing and more precise links, and ensure each sentence develops the point before moving on.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for describing a venue and making a formal invitation, including “multiplex theatre,” “cafeteria,” “inaugurate,” and “historic movie scene.” These choices communicate the main ideas, though several spelling errors and awkward word combinations reduce precision: “inograte,” “eqquiped,” “potrey,” “facilites,” and “seprate.” Phrases such as “amoured screens” and “take movie experience to next level” are also unclear or unnatural. The repeated use of “theatre” and “invite” limits variety somewhat. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations, such as “equipped with,” “enhance the viewing experience,” and “host the opening ceremony,” to make the letter sound more natural and polished.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, for example the sentence beginning “Additionally” and the explanation of why the actor was selected. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. In “I like you to invite,” the verb pattern should be “I would like to invite you”; “our firm always considerd you” has an incorrect verb form and agreement; and “our team is more than happy to work with you in upcoming projects” needs an article before “upcoming projects.” The sentence beginning “For example from your movie DDLJ” is a fragment, and “Despite of” is not a correct grammatical construction. Practise complete sentences, accurate verb forms, and article use while retaining your attempts at longer structures.
