Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you describe the theatre’s location and facilities, invite the actor to its inauguration, and explain that her popularity and long career make her suitable. These details keep the letter relevant and give the recipient a clear reason for the invitation. However, some parts are less fully developed than others. The theatre description is specific, but the invitation does not give a date or explain what role you expect the actor to play at the opening. The reason for choosing her is also quite general: “you are loved by most of the people” and have “won the hearts of millions” could apply to many performers. Add a proposed date and a more personal link between her work and the theatre’s audience.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening purpose, a paragraph describing the venue, and a final section explaining the invitation and the actor’s suitability. This makes the main message easy to follow. You also use linking expressions such as “As you already know” and “Since many decades” to connect ideas, although some links are awkward or unclear. For example, “Where your recent movie jab we met was filmed” is a sentence fragment, and “Opposite to it” leaves the reference to the eating area unclear. The invitation and explanation of suitability are placed together, but the transition between them could be smoother. Use complete sentences and clearer references, and separate the invitation from the supporting reason to improve progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for describing a venue and making an invitation, including “inauguration,” “screens,” “lobbies,” and “various roles and characters.” These choices help communicate the purpose and setting. However, some word combinations are unnatural or imprecise, such as “top most entertainment company,” “CSMT Airport,” and “in behalf of our company.” “Cinema hall” and “entertainment company” are also repeated where more precise alternatives could make the letter sound more professional. Check collocations and choose terms that accurately describe the location and event. A more polished range would include expressions such as “leading entertainment company,” “on behalf of,” and “opening ceremony,” while retaining the specific details that make the invitation personal.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the relative clause in “Our new cinema hall is located at Andheri, which is near to the CSMT Airport” and the reason clause beginning “Since many decades.” The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. “Where your recent movie…was filmed” is a fragment, and “a eating area” has an article error. The construction “I would like to invite you to the inauguration of our entertainment company” does not clearly express the intended event, while “you are ruling this entertainment industry” uses an unsuitable tense for a career spanning many years. Practise complete relative clauses, article use, and present perfect forms, and proofread punctuation around sentence boundaries.
