Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
You address all three requirements: you describe the theatre and its facilities, invite Salman to attend the opening, and explain why he is suitable by referring to his popularity, acting, and charitable work. The invitation is clear and includes the date, time, and venue. Your reasons are relevant and supported with specific details, such as the survey and his support for students. To make the response more fully developed, explain a little more about the event itself or what role you would like him to play beyond being the chief guest. Also, the opening description could be expressed in complete, connected sentences rather than as a list of facilities. Overall, the purpose and key information are clear throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The letter follows a clear progression: you introduce yourself and the invitation, describe the theatre, explain why Salman was selected, and close with the event details. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “So,” and “Hence” make the relationship between ideas understandable. The final paragraph also gives the practical details in a useful place. Some connections are less smooth, however: “So they have choose you the best actor” follows the survey information abruptly, and the facilities are presented in a sentence fragment rather than integrated into the description. Use transitions that show the reasoning more precisely and connect related details in complete sentences to make the flow more natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the invitation, including “grand opening,” “recliner seats,” “ample parking space,” and “popular celebrity,” which helps convey the theatre’s appeal and the actor’s suitability. There is some variety in how you describe the facilities and his public profile. However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “surway,” “participents,” “celibrity,” and “restaurent.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “find your work very hard working” and “support students with their education.” Choose more idiomatic expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, describe his performances as “hard-working and realistic” only if that is the intended meaning; “dedicated and convincing” would be more natural for acting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The letter includes both simple statements and attempts at more complex sentences, particularly the explanation beginning “Moreover” and the concluding “not only…but also” construction. The main message remains understandable, but errors in verb forms, sentence structure, and agreement are frequent enough to limit accuracy. For example, “they have choose you” should be “they have chosen you,” while “if you would join us on opening would be” needs a clear subject and a more suitable conditional structure. “Equipped with…” is a sentence fragment, and “your fan’s” uses an incorrect plural form. Practise building complete sentences and checking tense, subject–verb agreement, and articles; this will make the invitation sound more polished and professional.
