Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You give a relevant, balanced response: you acknowledge that anti-ageing products may improve confidence, then state that the trend is generally negative because it promotes unnatural beauty standards and has high financial costs. However, the response addresses the question only partially. The first supporting point is brief, and the second is introduced but left unfinished at “which leads to,” so the main negative argument is not explained or supported with an example. The conclusion is also absent. In addition, the response is 106 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop your reasons. To improve, complete each argument, explain its effects, include a relevant example, and finish with a clear concluding judgement.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation: you begin with your position, use “To begin with” for the positive point, and introduce a contrasting negative point with “However.” This helps the reader recognise the intended structure. Nevertheless, the response does not progress to a complete argument: the final sentence stops mid-idea, and there is no conclusion. Some linking is also awkward or unclear, such as “also more comfortable in their social situation” and “then improve their mental and daily confidence.” Develop a complete paragraph for each main reason, connect each explanation to its result, and use a final paragraph to restate your overall view. This would create clearer progression rather than relying mainly on a few basic transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “medical treatments,” “confident,” “beauty standards,” and “financial costs,” so the reader can identify your main ideas. However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling and word-choice problems make some phrases difficult to understand. Examples include “anti-ages products,” “a routines skincare,” “refreshing sensation,” and “daily canfiance.” Some expressions appear to be direct or inaccurate combinations rather than natural English. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations carefully. For instance, “anti-ageing products” and “skincare routine” would express your intended meanings more naturally; precise vocabulary would also help you explain the social and financial effects.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “while” and a result clause beginning “which leads to.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors often make the intended relationships difficult to follow. For example, “large number of Individuals they are heading” contains an unclear subject structure, while “it just a unnatural beauty standards” is missing a verb and has faulty agreement. The sentence beginning “To begin with” also lacks a clear grammatical connection between its ideas, and the final clause is incomplete. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, checking articles and singular/plural agreement, and using punctuation to separate ideas. Aim for accurate sentences before adding more complex clauses.
