Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, people are get more attracted by artificial things like beauty comes from make up, creams etc. even i don't know the names of products for differents parts of body. It is good for somepeople to use products and makeover theirself easily and sometimes gets hard to recognise them. On the other hand some people wants to be the natural beauty no matter what color is the skin tone. But in my opinion i will go with good things.
To begin with, if getting a glow or beauty by using products gives you confidence and makes you look younger and more confident then why you shouldn't use it. Like different type of serums , acids, lotions comes in market according to your skin type to help you to get rid of your older version.
Moreover, sone people get acne , dark spots, open pores and many more things which can't be fixed without using products. if you don't use or gets treatment it gets more worse, if nowadays you have the solution that is easily availabe we should go for it and live the moment with pride.
Hence , i will give you the example of my own story, when i was around 21 i have got too many pimples and acne on my face listened so many peoples that at this age people often gets these things will go accordingly but i have waited for almost 5 years then i went to doctor he suggested me some of the products to use and within a month i got results my face looks more brighter , young and acne free.
In the conclusion, i will admire the products because i have through the situation and even i don't want to force anyone it's all upto the person. I have shared my own experience there are lot of more people who is suffering from these things like me, they should go for it and start living a glorious life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You answer the question directly by stating that using products and treatments is a good thing, and you support this view with reasons about confidence and treating acne or dark spots. Your personal example of consulting a doctor and seeing improvement is relevant and helps make your position clear. However, the discussion focuses mainly on skin problems and gives less attention to the broader issue of products or treatments used simply to look younger. The opposing view—that some people prefer natural beauty—is mentioned but not explained or weighed against your opinion. To develop the response further, explain the benefits and possible drawbacks more fully, and connect each example explicitly to the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a personal example, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “In the conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. The ideas are generally understandable, but some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Hence” introduces your personal story without clearly showing how it follows from the previous point, and the opening moves quickly between artificial beauty, natural beauty, and your opinion. Paragraphing could also make the personal example more distinct from the general argument. Use clearer links that explain relationships between ideas, and ensure each paragraph has one main purpose.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “serums,” “acne,” “dark spots,” “skin tone,” and “confidence,” which allows you to discuss beauty products and treatments. There are also attempts at more descriptive expressions, such as “live the moment with pride” and “glorious life.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “beauty comes from make up,” “older version,” and “gets more worse.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “availabe,” “differents,” and “somepeople” also reduce precision. Aim for more natural combinations and check spelling; for instance, describe products as improving appearance or treating skin concerns rather than using unclear phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “if getting a glow or beauty by using products gives you confidence…” and a sequence describing your experience. This shows some range, and the main message is usually recoverable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “people are get more attracted,” “some people wants,” and “when i was around 21 i have got.” Several sentences also run together or lack appropriate punctuation, making relationships between clauses harder to follow. Practise forming accurate present and past-tense sentences, especially when combining clauses, and proofread for subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries.
