These days it has become much easier to look young by using different kinds of products and treatments in the marketing. In my opinion, this trend has several merits, the the demerits can not be overlooked.

On the one hand, there are a various benefits in people life. Firstly, if people buy skin care products to keep their skin smooth and brighter and use on regular basis, these can help to boost their confidence beauty. In this modern era, everyone wants to look younger so that they can get good comments from their friends, relatives and others. As a result, they may stay motivated all the time which may helps to enhance the productivity of their work.

On the other hand, despite having a lot of benefits the negative impacts of this trend can not be neglected due to various reasons. Sometimes, individuals are aware about the consequences of these types of treatments according to their skin and health. For example, nowadays most of people taking treatment to remove their unwanted hair with the help of laser. Because of their skin type they may face many bad results. Moreover, there are many websites and shops which sell fake products to their buyers. They are not know which products good for their skin, they use blindly after watching adds on the tv and social media platforms.

In conclusion, although buying a plenty of products and paying for treatments can assist to look them younger and boost their confidence, the negative consequences of this trend are more than their benefits.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear position, stating that the negative consequences outweigh the benefits. The ideas are relevant, such as the psychological boost of looking younger versus the health risks of unregulated treatments. However, the development is somewhat limited; for instance, the point about 'productivity' is not fully explained, and the discussion on fake products could be more detailed. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand your supporting points with more specific examples or deeper analysis to ensure the argument is fully developed throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'Firstly', 'As a result', and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, there are some minor issues with cohesion, such as the repetitive use of 'the' in 'the the demerits' and some slightly awkward phrasing in transitions. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the connection between sentences could be smoother to achieve a more natural flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'merits', 'demerits', 'productivity', and 'consequences'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'in the marketing' (should be 'on the market') and 'confidence beauty' (which is not a standard collocation). Additionally, there are some minor errors in word form, such as 'adds' instead of 'ads'. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that your word choices are precise and contextually appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'there are a various benefits in people life' (should be 'people's lives'), 'which may helps' (should be 'help'), and 'They are not know' (should be 'They do not know'). These errors do not impede communication, but they are noticeable. To reach a higher band, you need to improve your control over subject-verb agreement and article usage, and aim for a higher frequency of error-free complex sentences.
