Student answer (Band 5.5)
Due to the advanced medical technology people are tend do things like treatments and buy many products which help them to look younger. In my opinion this is a bad thing. Usage of many products will eventually lead to cancers. As well as it cost you lot of money.
To begin with lets discuss about the cancers which are involved with many products. Now a days companies are focusing on profit. Despite the health effects they always prioritize profit over any other things. Based on that reason, they usually do less clinical trials than it's actually required. Imagine one particular tablet has to pass 1,000 clinical trials. Though it is the required count they will do around 10 clinical trials and release the products to the market. This will lead the consumer in to a dangerous position.
Furthermore, the next point is higher cost involved with the treatments. Economically when the demand rise the price will also rise. Since lot of people are interest about the treatments, the market prices are going higher everyday. Now a days this will become a trend. Due to the current economic condition in the world, people have more priorities than spending money on some treatments which help to look younger. As an example people can buy a pension plan or investing money on some properties.
Finally I would say this is a bad thing to do. Because using many products and treatments will lead to cancers. Also cost you higher prices. It is better to invest additional money for your wealth.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that anti-aging treatments are a negative development. However, the development of ideas is limited. The argument regarding cancer is asserted without specific evidence or logical explanation, relying on a hypothetical scenario about clinical trials that lacks depth. The second point regarding cost is more relevant but remains somewhat superficial. To reach a higher band, you should provide more nuanced arguments, perhaps acknowledging the psychological benefits of such treatments before refuting them, or providing more realistic examples of the health risks involved. The conclusion is repetitive and does not add new insight to the discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'Based on that reason' and 'As well as it cost you' are used awkwardly, which disrupts the flow of ideas. While there is a logical progression from the health argument to the financial argument, the transitions between sentences are often abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used in the correct context would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'do things like' and 'look younger'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'involved with many products' and 'higher cost involved with the treatments'. While the meaning is clear, the lack of sophisticated or topic-specific vocabulary (e.g., 'cosmetic procedures', 'dermatological interventions', 'financial burden') limits the score. Focus on learning collocations and more academic synonyms for common verbs and adjectives.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede readability. Examples include 'people are tend do things', 'it cost you lot of money', and 'Now a days'. The sentence structures are relatively simple, and there is a lack of complex sentence forms. Subject-verb agreement and article usage are inconsistent. To improve, you should practice using a wider variety of complex structures, such as relative clauses or conditional sentences, and pay closer attention to basic verb forms and pluralization to reduce the frequency of errors.
