IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Nowadays it's possible for people to buy many products or pay for treatments that help them to look younger.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Children often learn by observing the behavior of adults and copying their actions. I strongly agree with this because adults are the first role models for children, and their behavior can have a major impact on children's habits and attitudes.

Firstly, younger genration spend alot of time with their parents and teachers, so they naturally observe them and start learning. For example, if parents regularly speak politely, help other people and show respect, their children are also develop similar habits. On the other side, if adults behave disrespectful towards others or use bad language, children may also consider this behavior normal. Therefore, adults have an important responsibility to set a good goal.

Secondary children can learn practical skills by copying adult. for instance a children can learn how to clean a house or how to make food by observing the adults. This kind of learning are more effective. because they can learn by real life example. It make easy for them to learn. It helps alot to learn so many things on a daily bases. So it is our responsibility to set a standard so that they can learn so many positive things like how to behave and give respect to other people.

however i believe that observing adults is not the only way to learn.

school, books and other activity also play an important role in children devlopement. teacher can provide children knowledge and guide children to understand what is right and wrong.

In conclusion, I strongly agree that kids get most of the things from parents because what they seen in house they follow that and i believe we should act kindly infront of the kids and provide them as much as knowledge by over all experiences.
