Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, people spending a lot of money on the beauty products that helps them to look younger. Most of them buy costly products but few people prefer to purchase cheap and copied product;which is harmful for their skin. Definately it is bad thing for coming generation.
In the modern era, people follow their role models such as actors or famous personalities and they trying to copied their life styles. Due to out of budget they spend their money to buy some similar products from unknown companies. As a result they ruin their natural beauty. For instance, I saw interview of one young lady, her face was covered and she cried and telling the story how she use unreputated product from local site and its result vice versa according to other people's review. So requested to everyone do not use these type of products. Most of the celebrities who promote the products but in real they are not using these products. They earn money through the advertisement.
On the other side, some products are legal and genuine. People can use them through the anaesthetic because they studied about the different faces. It is good for them who follow the proper treatment or who wants to work on the screen accosring to their role they have to look younger and follow the pattern.
In conclusion, these treatments has negative affect on the younger generation and they destroy their natural beauty. Depend upon the professional life, if you are role model for younger then let them know the truth of life. So they will not waste their money on the lower products.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address whether spending money on products and treatments to look younger is a good or bad thing. A position is presented, arguing mainly that it is a bad thing due to cheap and harmful products, though there is a brief acknowledgement that genuine treatments can be useful. However, the ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed, and the argument tends to over-generalize and drift into a discussion about celebrities and fake advertisements rather than focusing directly on the broader implications of age-defying products. The structure lacks full extension in places, placing this response firmly at Band 5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing a basic attempt at logical organisation with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is at times difficult to follow due to abrupt transitions and awkward phrasing, such as starting paragraphs with 'In the modern era' and 'On the other side'. Cohesive devices are used mechanically and sometimes inaccurately (e.g., 'So requested to everyone'). Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is frequently faulty, resulting in a score of Band 5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, such as 'beauty products', 'money', and 'younger'. There are several noticeable lexical errors and inappropriate word choices throughout the text, such as 'Definately', 'copied product', 'unreputated', and 'vice versa according to other people's review'. These errors and the limited range of less common vocabulary mean the response does not reach Band 6, though the language remains minimally adequate to convey a basic meaning, fitting Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but many of the complex sentences contain significant errors. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('people spending a lot of money'), fragment sentences ('which is harmful for their skin'), and faulty relative clauses ('how she use unreputated product'). Punctuation is also problematic in places, such as semicolon misuse. Because frequent grammatical errors cause some difficulty for the reader and accurate structures are heavily outnumbered by faulty ones, a Band 5 is appropriate.
