Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether the availability of anti-aging products and treatments is a positive or negative development, concluding that it is negative. The writer presents a clear position throughout the essay. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the argument regarding chemical ingredients and skin damage is introduced in the third paragraph ("after some time they face difficulties related their face. There are lot of chemicals are used") but remains under-developed without specific examples or broader consequences. The essay covers the main components of the task, meeting the basic requirements for Band 5, but would benefit from greater elaboration and extension of arguments to achieve a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into four paragraphs with a basic introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is weakened by repetitive phrasing and poor formatting, such as spacing errors around punctuation marks ("Becuse of this ,it is possible" and "T o explain it more"). Cohesive devices are used, but they are often basic, mechanical, or mismanaged, such as the concluding sentence referring to a "later paragraph" when there are no further paragraphs. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow within paragraphs is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and grammatical faults, placing the response at Band 5.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The lexical resource is limited and heavily impacted by spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text. Misspellings such as "numeruos", "advertisement" (used as a plural noun without an article or plural marker), "Becuse", "tratements", "disscuued", "thesedays", "amazone", "neceesary", and "competion" occur frequently. While the writer attempts some topic-specific vocabulary related to shopping and aging, the vocabulary control is weak, and errors often impede smooth reading. The range of vocabulary is minimally adequate for addressing the prompt, but recurring inaccuracies limit the score to a Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on positive marking for attempt.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but grammatical accuracy is very low throughout the response. There are frequent and systematic errors in basic grammar, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation. Examples include "there are numeruos of advertisement are running", "Sometimes people donot have neceesary to buy product however but advertisement encourge them", and "everyone's want to look younger especially womens". Punctuation spacing errors are pervasive (e.g., spaces before commas and periods). Because errors are frequent, cause constant difficulty for the reader, and obscure meaning in several places, the grammar falls squarely into the Band 4 category.
