Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, people are more into the beauty products for looking younger in the worldwide. On that, there are some merits and demerits with I explained further with appropriate example.
To begin with, some disadvantages of spending money on beauty products. The primary reason is that, no doubt some beauty brands and treatments give best result. Thought it's happen in rare case, and also it's bit expensive if you want to maintain your skin younger because it's long- time process. For instance, there is one treatment called laser treatment for hyperpigmentation skin in that not only one session remove your skin damage it's needed atleast 10 sessions which is too costly for low-income generations in society. Furthermore, one more limitation of this, is that fake marketing. Marketing play vital role in influencing people spending excusive money on beauty products and treatments without any recommendation od specialist doctor.
On the other side, there are few benefits for products which make individuals more younger.Firstly, this kind of treatments and products which people apply and so do for looking more younger or anti-age increase the confident level among communities who is facing ageing problem or winkles on their face. Having good products and treatments which can treat ageing problem of people is best ways for people who suffering this and have more money to spend on this kinds of things.
To conclude, haveing a best beauty products and treatments that rarely benefits for your skin that looks you younger, but it is quite expensive for under earning communities and influence by marketing and advertisement without knowing about product and treatments that suits their skin or not .I believe it's depend on people how to use this products

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The student addresses both parts of the prompt by discussing the merits and demerits of products and treatments used to look younger. A position is presented, and relevant examples such as laser treatment for hyperpigmentation are included. However, some ideas are under-developed, and the conclusion tends to repeat points rather than synthesising them effectively. The expression of ideas sometimes lacks clarity due to phrasing issues, placing the response comfortably within Band 5.5 to 6.0. Given that all parts of the task are addressed with relevant examples, a Band 6.0 is appropriate as the response demonstrates a clear attempt to explore both sides of the issue, even though the depth of development is somewhat limited.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The response is structured into coherent paragraphs with an introduction, body paragraphs addressing advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Transitional markers such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'On the other side' are used to guide the reader through the text. However, paragraphing and referencing are sometimes faulty, and logical progression is occasionally hindered by abrupt shifts and awkward phrasing. For example, the transitional phrase 'On that' at the beginning of the essay is unnatural. Cohesive devices are mechanically applied at times, and referencing pronouns lack clarity in places, resulting in a Band 5.5 performance overall.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student attempts less common vocabulary such as 'hyperpigmentation', 'anti-age', and 'specialist doctor'. However, there are noticeable lexical errors and awkward word choices throughout the text, such as 'more into the beauty products', 'excusive money' instead of excessive, 'confident level' instead of confidence level, and 'under earning communities'. Spelling and word-formation inaccuracies, like 'haveing', occur frequently and occasionally cause the reader some difficulty. The lexical range is adequate for the task but heavily restricted by repetitive phrasing and imprecise word choices, reflecting the criteria for Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but grammatical accuracy is weak. There are frequent errors in tense usage, subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure, such as 'people are more into the beauty products... in the worldwide' and 'with I explained further'. Additionally, fragments and run-on sentences appear, including 'Thought it's happen in rare case, and also it's bit expensive'. Punctuation and article usage are also problematic throughout the response. Because errors are frequent and occasionally obscure the intended meaning, the grammar aligns closely with a Band 5.0 descriptor.
