Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing whether products and treatments to look younger are good or bad, presenting a balanced view. A position is stated, mentioning that it is good for health but bad regarding financial aspects. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument about health relies heavily on vague statements rather than deep elaboration, and the example regarding the WHO survey lacks strong integration with the prompt. The conclusion reiterates the stance briefly. Because the ideas are presented but under-developed and lack extended support, this performance aligns most closely with Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay demonstrates some organisation with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is heavily disrupted by repetitive phrasing, awkward transitions, and mechanical cohesive devices such as 'To Commnece with' and 'To elaborate this'. Paragraphing is attempted, but individual paragraphs lack internal cohesion and smooth logical flow. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronouns like 'its' and 'they' referring ambiguously back to nouns. These organisational flaws and the repetitive structure place this response firmly at Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive, with frequent word choice and collocation errors, such as 'appeared smaller then actual age', 'this good thing', and 'invest to products'. There are also numerous spelling mistakes like 'disscussed', 'upcoming', 'Commnece', 'suppliments', and 'fullfill'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic topic of health, youth, and money, noticeable errors and limited lexical range prevent the response from achieving a higher band. This corresponds to a Band 5.0 for lexical resource.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text displays a very limited range of structures, with frequent grammatical errors that often impede comprehension. Sentences frequently lack essential verbs or have incorrect tense usage, as seen in 'individuals are able to purchase... or they able to make' and 'person who have sufficient amount'. There are missing articles ('in context of money it is bad thing') and awkward phrasing throughout ('this inflation time for investing any amount need proper consideration'). Complex structures are attempted but are generally faulty. Due to the high frequency of basic and complex structural errors, a band score of 4.5 or 5.0 is warranted, with 5.0 reflecting the attempt at complex forms despite heavy errors.
