Nowadays people are into grooming and wellbeing. It has become so important for people to have a spectacular personality that stands out in a community or a society.

Some people can afford the products and treatments that can help them to look younger. Treatments such as botox,l ipfilling, plastic sugery and more. There are many medications also available that can help to enhance one to look much more younger such as collagens and other multi vitamins meds.

To commence, with people buying many products or paying for treatments has reached at such a peak level that they have forgotten the value of having natural techniques to look younger. Basic natural ways to make one look younger is by having natural teas, fresh fruits , green vegetables and salmon oil which has helps one to have a glow up.

Skin and keratin treatments has become a fashion trend where , people have started feeling safe and have started testing and trial over them. In, my opinion it is extremely bad to take up treatments that includes surgeries and injections which may lead to harmful side effects such as skin cancer and other deadly diseases which can be harmful and can cause pain.

According to science people who consume medications such as supplements and other harmful steroids can be a risk. Because, of glam and grooming mostly women tend to look pretty and would choose medications to have instant glow and results according to my own experience , I have also seen women facing fail surgeries and treatments which has lead to loss of life.

I would conclude by stating that we are blessed with natural beauty .We must maintain , aging is the part of life we much accept and move on !

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether products and treatments to look younger are a good or bad thing, presenting a clear position that it is a bad thing due to safety risks and natural beauty being preferable. The ideas are generally relevant, mentioning botox, lip filling, and natural alternatives. However, the development is somewhat limited and lacks depth in exploring alternative perspectives. The argument relies heavily on generalisations and personal opinion rather than well-extended analysis. While the prompt is addressed and a position is maintained throughout, the support for the main ideas remains relatively basic and could be expanded with more robust reasoning or specific examples to reach a higher band. Overall, the performance aligns with the requirements of Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is attempted, though some paragraphs are overly brief or combine multiple distinct thoughts. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence,' and 'According to science', but their usage can be mechanical or unnatural at times. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly with pronoun usage and dangling modifiers, which disrupts the logical flow between sentences. While the progression of ideas is generally understandable, the lack of smooth transitions and occasional awkward grouping of sentences place this response firmly in the Band 6 category for cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student displays an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common words and phrases such as 'spectacular personality', 'fashion trend', and 'glow up'. However, there are noticeable inaccuracies in word choice, collocation, and spelling throughout the text, including 'lipfilling' (lip filling), 'sugery' (surgery), 'meds', and 'fail surgeries' (failed surgeries). These lexical errors do not seriously impede communication, as the reader can still grasp the intended meaning, but they prevent the writing from achieving a higher band. The vocabulary is generally sufficient for a straightforward communication of ideas, fitting the descriptors for Band 6.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in grammatical structures. However, frequent grammatical errors and punctuation mistakes are present throughout the text, such as missing commas after introductory phrases ('In, my opinion'), awkward phrasing ('has reached at such a peak level'), and tense inconsistencies ('which has helps one'). Run-on sentences and punctuation lapses also occur, as seen in 'There are many medications also available that can help to enhance one to look much more younger such as collagens and other multi vitamins meds.' Although these errors rarely completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to preclude a Band 6.5, making Band 5.5 a more accurate reflection of grammatical control.
