Student answer (Band 5.5)

Through different forms of print and digital media,we come across reports that in advance technological era, there are plenty of products available for people to look younger than their age. There is an ongoing debate wheather it is good thing or bad thing. As far as my inclination is considered,It is a good thing for people to use this kind of products on daily basis.

My stand can be justified with some interesting observations. The most convincing point in this regard is that if people use beauty products regularly like tubes, creams, they can make better skin even they look amazing than others. This view exits as they feel more confident and look very different from other people.Consequently, they can get change to perform in advertisement which is related to beauty. Moreover,my opinion can be bolstered with the fact that they can glow their skin even they can do plastic surgery of their face to look younger than others.Hence, they can change their face and look stunning from others.

Apart from these,I can not ignore the fact that nowadays face treatments are very common among the people especially in womens. This hypothesis is buoyed in the Idea that thry do face treatments and look better because this kind of treatment has plenty of chemicals which make their skin bright. Thus, they look very nice because this kind of chemicals are not harmful for thier skin even it prevents our skin from pigmentation and acne or pimples.A global research in this matter has been proven that there are 90% of womens from my country eho are always prefer to do cafe treatment la even hair treatmenta once in a month even they like to do makeup on regular basis to look young.

All in all, future will unfold many surprises for us.The need is to be proactive and plough ahead with optimism.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The student addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position that anti-aging products and treatments are a good thing. The ideas are generally relevant, but their development is limited and repetitive. For instance, the points about looking different, feeling confident, and glowing skin are reiterated across paragraphs without being fully extended with deep examples or logical elaboration. The mention of advertising and plastic surgery attempts to broaden the discussion, but these are stated briefly rather than thoroughly explored. This places the performance firmly in the Band 6 territory, where relevant ideas are presented, but some are under-developed or lack sufficient depth.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance established in the introduction, followed by supporting body paragraphs and a concluding summary. However, cohesion is heavily impacted by mechanical errors in punctuation and spacing, such as missing spaces after commas and periods (e.g., "media,we come", "age.There"). Paragraphing is attempted, but the transition between ideas can feel abrupt. Cohesive devices are used, but they are sometimes repetitive or awkwardly integrated, as seen with phrases like "Apart from these" and "Moreover,my opinion can be bolstered with the fact that". Referencing is generally understandable, but the lack of proper spacing and mechanical fluency makes the progression less smooth than required for a Band 7.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as "advance technological era", "ongoing debate", "proactive", and "optimism". However, there are noticeable inaccuracies in word choice, spelling, and collocation. Examples include "wheather" instead of whether, "womens" instead of women, "eho" instead of who, and "cafe treatment la" instead of facial treatments. Collocations are sometimes unnatural, such as "glow their skin" or "do plastic surgery of their face". While communication is not impeded and the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the basic message, the frequency of lexical errors prevents the score from reaching Band 6.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing conditional structures and relative clauses (e.g., "if people use beauty products regularly like tubes, creams, they can make better skin even they look amazing than others"). However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors including missing articles, incorrect prepositions, run-on clauses, and poor punctuation control regarding spacing and capitalization. For example, "thry do face treatments" and "thier skin" display basic spelling and structural slips. Complex structures are frequently faulty, leading to noticeable strain for the reader. These persistent errors place the writing at Band 5.
