Student answer (Band 5.0)
Peoples these days are very conscious about there skin for that they do they treatments which give them younger look,It also have negative effect as they are expensive and some people believes anti-aging is deases.
Nowsaday the comestic industry is growing rapidly. People often buy expensive products or perform anti-aging medical treatment to stop the ringles on the face or turning the hair gray/white. As this give them confidence and ehnence there personality. For example if you feel that you look young you can walk confidently in the society.
On the other hand this have negative effect on the person. specially women start taking it as dease. They start thinking as they are getting older so they start to spend more and more on these products which eventually is lost of money and some time treatment goes wronge and they start having skin problem which can lead this to skin cancel. For example using to much whitening creams atar damaging the skin cells of the face and it start becoming red.
In my opinion looking younger is positive thing as it bost you inner energy and you feel more energetic but the cost behind this should not be too much and also not to take aging as medical issue.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both positive and negative aspects of anti-aging products and treatments, presenting a clear personal opinion. However, the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed, lacking detailed elaboration or extensive real-world examples. Furthermore, the length requirement is not met, as the response contains only 208 words, falling significantly short of the 250-word minimum. To reach the next level, the writer needs to fully meet the minimum word count and extend their arguments with more comprehensive explanations and specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays a basic, coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraph breaks separating the introduction, the body paragraphs discussing advantages and disadvantages, and the conclusion. However, progression is somewhat restricted by repetitive phrasing and occasional mechanical use of cohesive devices, such as 'For example' and 'On the other hand'. Referencing is not always entirely clear, leading to minor jumps in logic. To improve, the writer should employ a wider and more flexible variety of transition signals and ensure a smoother, more logical progression of ideas throughout the text.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey the main points regarding beauty products and aging. The text contains noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word form, such as 'deases' instead of 'disease', 'comestic' instead of 'cosmetic', 'ringles' instead of 'wrinkles', and 'bost' instead of 'boost'. These errors occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader. To achieve a higher score, the writer needs to expand their lexical range beyond basic terms, demonstrate greater precision in word choice, and eliminate frequent spelling mistakes.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The grammar demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside a few attempts at complex forms that are often faulty. There are frequent errors in verb tenses, articles, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation, such as run-on clauses and missing capital letters. Examples include 'Peoples these days are very conscious about there skin for that they do they treatments' and 'using to much whitening creams atar damaging the skin cells'. These frequent errors can cause difficulty and strain for the reader. To improve, the writer needs to gain better control over basic sentence construction and increase the frequency of error-free complex sentences.
