Student answer (Band 5.5)

I belived that it's possible for indiviuals to get numerous products and treatments which can help them to look younger from their excect age. In today's genration it is getting very populer day by day but on the other hand it has possitive and negitive impact on people's skin. Here i will explain why and how they effect human skin.

Firstly, In today's period everyone wants to look smarter and good which is a great quality. Most of the ladies do skin care at home while one the other hand, few of the women's pay for their skin treatments at salon's. According to me number of ladies buy products to enhance their face beauty because their face get dull because of some health and enviromental changes. In addition to , working women who intereact with sun and pollution everyday they get more effected in debate to other women who stay's at home. According to the recent surrvey the skin specialist in 2025 has discovered that ladies who do not apply any type of product and do not get any treatment they have less brighthen and Nicinamide rather then ladies who use diffrent types of products. If you take care of your skin you can get an oppurtunity to enter in cinema and film industery because of your good looks.

Secondly, we also have a bad impact on our skin of using more and more kinds of products. Most of the common thing is promotion on social media, which can be harmfull. Looking younger is not bad but insted of buying products you should focus on your nutrition and your diet. If you will only realy on artifical things you will get sick and face several deases. For example, according to the newspaper the headline has been reported number of people got allergic by using artifical or over the counter products. Sometime sensitive skin can be a trigger so we should avoid these types of things.

To conclusion, I agree on that point people should focus on their diet insted of paying on products and treatments to look younger. Also make an habit to do early morning walk and excersie.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether anti-aging products and treatments are positive or negative, but the development of ideas remains limited and under-developed. While a clear position is stated by the end of the essay, the arguments in the body paragraphs tend to wander. For instance, the discussion in the second paragraph jumps from skin care routines and sun exposure to a vague survey from 2025 and the film industry, rather than fully exploring the core social or personal implications of looking younger. To reach the next level, the writer needs to extend and support their main ideas with clearer examples and maintain a more focused, consistent line of reasoning throughout the entire response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay displays some basic organization, utilizing paragraph breaks to separate the introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and the flow between sentences can feel disjointed. Cohesive devices are frequently inaccurate or used repetitively, such as the mechanical transitions 'Firstly,' and 'Secondly,' alongside clumsy phrasing like 'In addition to ,' and 'To conclusion,'. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, making it difficult to follow the logical links between arguments. Achieving a higher band would require more skillful and varied use of cohesive devices, alongside a clearer, more logical progression of information from one sentence to the next.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, but this is marred by noticeable word-choice errors and spelling mistakes throughout the text, such as 'indiviuals', 'genration', 'populer', 'possitive', 'negitive', 'enviromental', 'intereact', 'effected', 'surrvey', 'brighthen', 'Nicinamide', 'oppurtunity', 'industery', 'artifical', 'deases', and 'excersie'. These lexical errors and incorrect word forms occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, the writer needs to build a wider, more precise vocabulary resource and focus heavily on accurate spelling and word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer demonstrates a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple forms alongside faulty attempts at complex sentences. There are frequent grammatical errors involving subject-verb agreement, articles, plurals, and prepositions, such as 'I belived', 'everyday they get more effected in debate to other women who stay's', 'number of people got allergic', and 'make an habit'. Punctuation is also problematic in places, including stray commas and awkward capitalization. These frequent errors cause some strain for the reader. To move up, the writer must produce a greater variety of complex structures with improved accuracy and reduce the frequency of basic grammatical slips.
