Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, people often like to buy various products to enhance their beauty or invest a money for treatments that help them to look younger. I think this is a bad idea to do anything with our body to reverse our age by any surgical or any medication. This essay will discuss the reasons and examples in the following paragraphs.
One of the main cause is high dose medication react negatively in the human body. Many people have a weak immunity system, and therefore high power medicines are not suitable for them to digest. If they started to consume it, this may react negatively to other part of the body. For instance, in India, many celebraties have done plastic surgery on face, however they may suffer from dust allergy.
Moreover, spending too much expense on beauty care products have harsh chemicals and ingredients that are not suitable for every skin tones and won't change the color and tone of the skin. Provided that individuals continue with the skin care medication, they may just spending their income without an result. For example, a fair and lovely cream in India, encourage youngsters to buy because it makes their dull skin into glowing skin and make it bright. So, instead of changing their diet and add physical exercise they fully rely on this to make it brighter.
To conclude, negative reaction of the high dosage pills and less effective beauty care are the main reasons to not investing money on any age reverse treatments and medications, whereas appropriate diet makes our body more healthy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you consider age-reversal products and treatments a bad idea, and you give two relevant reasons—possible health effects and wasted spending on ineffective skincare. The examples about plastic surgery and a skin cream help illustrate these points. However, the response addresses the topic only partially because it focuses mainly on risks and does not explain the issue of looking younger through a balanced or sufficiently specific discussion. Some claims, such as the link between dust allergy and plastic surgery, are unclear or not convincingly connected to your argument. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a more directly relevant example, and make the conclusion reflect the argument more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “One of the main cause” and “Moreover,” and a conclusion. This makes the main line of argument easy to follow. However, some connections between ideas are unclear, particularly the example of celebrities with dust allergies after plastic surgery and the shift from skin products to diet and exercise. Linking phrases such as “therefore” and “For example” are used, but the relationships they introduce are not always logical or fully explained. Improve progression by ensuring each example directly supports the paragraph’s main point, and use clearer references when moving from a general claim to its consequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use topic-related vocabulary such as “plastic surgery,” “harsh chemicals,” “skin care products,” and “physical exercise,” so the reader can understand the subject and your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, including “invest a money,” “weak immunity system,” “high power medicines,” and “reverse our age.” These expressions sometimes make the intended meaning less precise. Aim to learn common word partnerships and choose terms that describe the issue accurately—for example, distinguish cosmetic treatments from medication and describe possible side effects directly. More precise vocabulary would also help you avoid repeating general terms such as “body,” “skin,” and “make.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “therefore,” “however,” and “whereas,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors occur frequently in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms. Examples include “One of the main cause is,” “products have harsh chemicals,” and “they may just spending their income”; these should be revised for subject–verb agreement and correct verb patterns. There are also problems with articles and countability, as in “invest a money” and “without an result.” Some longer sentences combine ideas without clear grammatical control. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, then review agreement, articles, and verb forms before submitting.
