Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this contemporary era, i realised most of the folks spent their hard earned money to buy products and for the younger looking treatments. Every coin has two sides, so i will elaborate my both perspectives either its good or bad.
To commence with the Good side, I would like to say that there is nothing wrong to look younger. Because nobody wants to get die or look dull from their facial expression. Most of the generation these days trying to be look more younger even if they are in their 40's or 50's. Therefore they are paying hight cost of money to buy skin care products like korean creams and all. Whereas, nowadays there is one more thing is in trending which we called hydra facial treatments and that costs thousands of dollars.
On the other hand, why to spend this amount of money to these kind of products, these treatments and products are not going to help people for long term. Secondly, i have seen numerous cons of these products and treatments because it burns your skin, acnes, readness and many more ruin your natural beauty. For instance, i recently done face waxing to remove hairs but, as soon as i have done that, My face filled with acnes and redness.
In conclusion, my perspective is every single thing has pro and cons. Whatever people want to get done or buy they should be, but at some certain point. Nothing is permanent in life nor beauty neither money in the life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and give a personal conclusion: you accept that people may choose these products or treatments, but argue they should use them only to a limited extent. The examples of skincare and your experience with facial waxing make the response relevant. However, the position is not fully clear: the opening promises to discuss whether this is good or bad, while the conclusion presents a qualified view without clearly deciding which side is stronger. Several points are asserted rather than explained—for example, that treatments do not help in the long term and can damage skin. Develop these claims with clearer reasoning or evidence, and explain more directly why the overall trend is good or bad.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph presenting benefits, a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the other hand” help readers follow the shift in viewpoint, and the personal example supports the discussion. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “Every coin has two sides” is a general opening rather than a precise link to the argument, and “Because nobody wants to get die” is separated from the preceding sentence in a way that disrupts the flow. The conclusion repeats the idea of pros and cons but does not clearly resolve the discussion. Use clearer links between each claim and its explanation, and make the final paragraph state your overall judgement directly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “skin care products,” “treatments,” “natural beauty,” and “facial expression,” and you attempt less common terms such as “contemporary era” and “perspective.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or informal, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. Examples include “hight cost of money,” “get die,” “acnes,” and “readness.” Phrases such as “the younger looking treatments” and “one more thing is in trending” also sound unnatural. Aim for precise, standard expressions and check spelling and word forms; this will make your argument clearer and more appropriate for an IELTS essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “Whereas” and a conditional-style conclusion beginning “Whatever people want to get done or buy.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, sentence construction, articles, and punctuation can make parts difficult to follow. For example, “Most of the generation these days trying” lacks a finite verb, while “nobody wants to get die” uses an incorrect verb pattern. “I recently done face waxing” also has an incorrect tense form, and “Because nobody wants…” is an incomplete sentence in this context. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses. Check capitalisation and punctuation, especially around sentence boundaries.
