Student answer (Band 6.0)
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to provide feedback for services provided to me while relocating process by your company QUCIKMOVERS.
During my past years, I moved to variety of locations in city from time to time and Quickmovers provided me one the best services. The process started at 10:00AM in the morning and completed at sharp 2:00PM in the afternoon which I believe super quick considering the heavy furniture I own. As a result, I did not have to take leave from my work for another day to setup all the stuff.
An honurable employee that I especially have to mention is Mr. Sam. He helped me in a lot of other stuff and also reminded me about the bag that I left in my basement which contained my very important job document.
Moving on, last but one problem I have to mention that one of my TV stand got broken in the process and it was very expensive cost more than 5000$ i was not using it so I decided to give it to my cousin on his birthday but not I have to through it.
Yours faithfully

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt: you explained the positive aspects of the move, praised a specific employee, and mentioned a problem with the service. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the complaint about the broken TV stand is a bit disjointed and lacks a clear request for resolution or a formal tone expected in a complaint letter. To improve, ensure that each point is fully extended with clear, logical explanations rather than just stating the facts.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use some basic cohesive devices like 'During my past years' and 'Moving on' to transition between ideas. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes interrupted by awkward phrasing, such as in the final paragraph where the sentence structure becomes confusing. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that your sentences connect more smoothly to one another to create a more professional, cohesive narrative.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'relocating', 'honourable', and 'possessions'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors, such as 'setup all the stuff' (informal), 'through it' (should be 'throw'), and 'one the best' (missing 'of'). The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. Expanding your range to include more formal collocations and ensuring accurate word forms will significantly improve your score in this area.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'while relocating process' (missing article/preposition), 'one of my TV stand' (should be plural 'stands'), and 'not I have to through it' (incorrect word choice and structure). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct preposition usage, and proofreading for basic spelling and word-form errors.
