IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently used a company to help you move your furniture and possessions to your new apartment. The removal company has now asked for your feedback about the service they provided.

Write a letter to the removal company. In your letter

• explain what went well on the day you moved house

• praise an employee who was particularly helpful

• mention an aspect of the service that you were not happy with

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Student answer (Band 6.0)

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter for the services recently which I have taken from your ABC company for shifting my furniture from XYZ avenue to RTS avenue on 2nd August 26.

Your company staff reached on time at my address at 09 : 00 hrs. Staff have all necessary things as plastic containers, wrappers, tapes, ropes, big and small containers. Staff members has arranged all the materials proper way and packed all things and dismantled beds, sofas, dining tables in proper order and packed for shifting.

Mr. Ben was very good and guiding the team members properly which need to be shifted first and in proper way, so that it can be easily to combined as well after shifting to other place. Also he labelled all things proper way as well.

But they does not have containers for shifting glasses things and because of this my many of glass related materials were broken. This is my feedback that in future may be you need staff the guide to have proper container to shift glasses materials.

Thank you for all the services your team provided and all things are shifted on time and it help me at arrange other things and on timely.
